Well yesterday after emailing a few folks here on this thread, looking at the Unofficial Site of CSR, and printing out the Menu for Maya and Pepper Market, I showed the family...............and they are so excited to stay here!!!

I was up early this morning as today is our 180 day mark, making reservations. Things went very well (after I called dining, since the online system was giving me problem), and I got all that I wanted.

Now to head back over to the resort pictures and enjoy.

Happy to hear the family is excited and that you got your dining ressies. Under the resort "photo" thread section, there are a LOT of great photos of CSR -- some of them quite professional looking. Enjoy!

Casitas 4 and 5 will put you very close to the first stop picked up and dropped off (Bus Stop 2) so it is ideal. However, a request is just a request and not a guarantee. If you can't get that, I would see if they could put you in Cabanas 8A...it is very close to a bus stop too and a great location.

I read the first postings but did not scroll through all the other ones to see if this had been asked. *I think I would still be searching next month!*

My question is to anyone that knows, do any of the standard or preferred rooms at CSR have a little table with 2 chairs? Or do they all have the desk and desk chair with 2 ottomans?

Before the renovation, the rooms all had a table and two chairs. They switched it to the desk and two ottomans during the rehab. I believe that some of the "Club Level" rooms and suites have a table and chairs.

Lucky you. We're at 92 days until AKL and 94 days until CSR.

Aww you're staying at AKL too?! That's great! We were going to try and do a split stay between AKL and CSR too but we wanted to keep our free dining and there was no availability at either AKL or WL for our dates with the FD pin. We didn't really want to do a split stay with another mod, and the other deluxes are just too pricey for us right now. So CSR it is for the whole time! Which is okay by me!

I felt like we were just doing our double digit dance yesterday! So don't worry, the time is gonna FLY!

Yes, I am "cheating" on CSR for a couple of nights (the title of my PTR ). I work with someone who owns DVC and she gave us a great price on a one bedroom villa in Kidani. We are using those two days there to just hang at the resort (my DH will probably never get me off the balcony from watching the animals). Then we will go "home" to CSR and do the parks.

I'm relocating to the Orlando area next week and I'm staying at CSR for a few nights while I get settled in the area! We just got back last night from a week at POFQ, Disney's Vero Beach, and Poly CL so I'm thrilled to be going back next week..so soon!!!!!!

I stayed at CSR in Oct with some friends and had a blast so I'm looking forward to going back for a few nights

At 7pm we'll be on our flight heading to CSR We went for our mani/pedis last night, finished up all our packing, and made last minute dining ressies. Today is going to be THE LONGEST DAY waiting to go to the airport.

We've decided to add on the QS DDP for the 3 nights we're staying there next week.

How does Pepper Market work with the DDP? On the first page I know it says about the 10% gratuity but do you have to pay that if you are using the DDP and want to eat inside instead of taking it to go??

This is a mystery. Some people say they haven't paid on the Dining plan, others say they have. The best way to be sure to avoid it is to ask for your food to go and take it and eat at one of the tables around the lake (this way you can watch for the turtles and alligator).

It is separate shampoo and conditioner. And, yes, you get lotion, as well as a big bath soap and a smaller hand soap.

The ticket thingy the waiter gives you to get stamped at each station has a comment in small print at the bottom that says gratuity is not included with the DDP. Apparently you are expected to leave the tip on the table. However, I think alot of people don't see that comment and the cashier does not ask you for it, so they assume the tip is included with the DDP. If you don't leave it on the table, the waiter gets stiffed.

Thanks! I guess we'll just take the food to go if/when we might eat there. I noticed you can use it at a few places at DTD so that's a good option for us too since we won't be doing parks!!!

Well after a couple of weeks I have finally made it thru the whole thread. It is funny how many questions are about what to request for room location!

Now that we have picked CSR for our trip we just have to wait for the free dining promo for Sept 2012.
