We checked in April 11th and we were the first stop!!! Not sure if that is always the case....we got in @6:30 pm

Its been the first stop for us both times as well. Once at 2:30pm and the other time at 5:30pm. Dec 2010 and 2011. I believe it is always the first stop until later in the evening when they cut the number of buses and go to several resorts based on late arrivals. After 10pm I think.
 
Gettin close!!! I can do online check-in in 23 days. I'm a sucker for online anything so i can't resist.

Thing is i have tickets i want to add to room keys and also gift cards to credit to my room (i read somewhere they can do this). Can concierge handle both?

I'm not too concerned about my room, i really just want a first floor.

Thank you both for your responses! We get in a 6p on 5/11, I am hoping CSR is still the 1st stop. Getting SUPER excited only 16 more days till we check in! :banana:

Yes, they should be able to take care of everything for you. Have a magical trip!
 
11 days to go and the pictures posted a few pages ago are making me crazy!! It looks like such a beautiful resort. My DH really needs this vacation (though how restful will it be with a 2 1/2 yr old DGS!!!) and I'm hoping CSR will be at least somewhat relaxing for him.. We are both currently REALLY :sick: sick with upper resperatory infections :scared1:. We've been on antibiotics for 5-7 days but are still both coughing like mad. I pray we're better by May 5th but, better or not, we're coming!!!! I've requested Cabanas 8B or 9A but they could upgrade us to Club Level if they have too!!!

Coffee, decaf and regular, and 3 types of "spa water" are not pictured. The items have varied a little each day (one day there was trail mix and cookies). Evening offerings are very similar. I will try to remember to take pictures at breakfast tomorrow but probably won't be able to post them until Friday.

I'm ten days out today, but am not doing online check in.:rotfl: I requested first floor Cabanas and want to be able to ask for a room change if I happened to get stuck out in the Ranchos.:rotfl: I like the Casitas, love the Cabanas, and absolutely hate, hate, hate the Ranchos. I am always terrified I'm going to get stuck out there.:rotfl: It's probably all in my head and wouldn't really be that bad, but still I'm hoping for some pixiedust to be placed somewhere in my beloved Cabanas. So far in nine trips, I've been in Casitas 1, Casitas 2, Cabanas 9B three times, Cabanas 9A twice, and Cabanas 8A twice, so have thus far avoided the dreaded Ranchos. In those nine trips I have also gotten my first floor request every time, except the two times I was in the Casitas where I had a top floor both times.:confused3

Hey, I just realized I only have one more day until I'm in single digits!
 
I have a spa question. I know the spas over at the Grand Floridian and Saratoga Springs offer a discount for annual passholders. Does the one at CSR? I believe they are all owned by Niki Bryan. Right? Also how about the coupon you can get on the Niki Bryan sight for $50.00 off some services if you combine them with another. Can that coupon be used there? Thanks!

I am going to do online checkin soon. We are arriveing after 11pm, so we almost have to. We have a request for Castias 5, so I am going to request Castias, ground floor at check in

Thats awesome! I have done online and asked for a room change no problem! I just can't resisit doing one more thing for my trip online! I'm such a dork :) Congrats on the single digits, we are at 30 today!

Thanks so much for posting pictures! It would be great if they offered club level on a regular basis, not just for conventions.

I don't know for sure about the AP discount, but I would think it would apply. The CSR spa is owned by Niki Bryan like the other WDW spas. You can use the coupon - there is a link to the coupon on the CSR spa website ( upper right where it says A Complimentary Gift to Relax):

online check-in is just 1 step closer to there!! I have never had a problem getting a room change if my requests were not met, even using on-line check-in. A few minutes here on the DIS and on to check in!!!!
 
Just returned from a 10-day/9-night stay at CSR! There were 13 of us and we had a great time. My review:

Overall: Great! Really enjoyed our stay at the resort. This was the second time (2008) that we stayed there.

Mousekeeping: Excellent! Cleaned the room and made the beds every day and arranged my DD's stuffed toys on the bed as well.

Buse service: Okay. The bus schedule was somewhat erratic as three Epcot's would scoot by before the Magic Kingdom, etc. It also took a while for the buses to circle the resort (4 bus stops). But overall we had no real complaints.

Pools: Good. Had to evacuate one day when a poopie escaped from a little one's barthing suit.

Pepper Market Buffet Breakfast: Awesome! Really started our days off on the right foot. Made to order eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, muffins, fruit, waffles, pancakes, etc., you name it, it was there!

Pepper Market Buffet Lunch: Mixed reviews. Most did not care for it and I did not go there.

Cafe Rix: Good, especially if you needed something in a pinch. Really good pastries!
