Anyone? I'm leaving in a couple of hours!!!

Sorry...my brother is in critical condition in the hospital and I've not been able to keep up with my DISSING. Here are the instructions:

The CSR has Central Air (not wall units). To adjust the temperature, follow these instructions: On the
thermostat, push the power button and the down arrow (button that adjusts the temp) at the exact same time.
If you do this correctly, you will see the letters "bp" where the temp normally shows. You are now bypassing the
sensors in the room. You can then set the temp to whatever you want and it keeps the room that cold whether
you are in it or not. You might have to do this once a day as the thermostat tends to go back to sensor mode
after 24 hours.

Looking for some help. My family is going down mid April-staying at CSR. Our plan is to do some breakfasts in room, cereal primarily. However, our son is lactose intolerant. Does anyone know if the CSR store sells Lactaid or something similar? I've done a few thread searches but haven't been able to find anything.

Thanks!

I'm not sure about Lactaid, but I know they do have Silk soymilk on site. My son is lactose intolerant too, and I took note of that last year.

Oh dear, KatMark I am so sorry to hear about your brother, I hope he will recover swiftly. Thank you for this response but also for everything you do on this board. I will post when we return next Sunday. We have requested Casitas 4 or 5. Again, many thanks to you and all the other CSR fans on this thread! :lovestruc

Anyone? I'm leaving in a couple of hours!!!

KatMark has put the directions with a picture on the first page of this thread. Her first one or two posts has this information along with other general information. I know how hectic it is the last day or few hours before departing for a trip :). Have a fabulous stay at CSR and WDW!

KatMark's beginning page comments are fantastic resource and wealth of information, so for anyone looking for info about CSR, I suggest people should start there!

KatMark - I am sorry to hear your brother is in critical condition. Please take care of yourself. Your family is in my prayers!

Is there a concise list somewhere (I could not find it) about the best way to get from CSR to other resorts and those resorts to the parks. We are doing the Princess breakfast and chef mickey and want to make sure we are getting the most efficient way to and from the other resorts and then to the parks. I understand to take the buses to the ticket center and transfer from there but how do the monorail and boats fit into then getting to the parks. What places are connected by what?

I hope that all made sense.

...which Princess breakfast?? The one at Cindy's castle or the one in Norway?? One suggestion is to take the bus to EPCOT and catch the monorail to MK - you can switch to the other monorail to get to the Contemporary to Chef Mickey's (or you can walk there too)...

I guess I also did make it clear that Chef Mickey is a breakfast on another day from the Princess Breakfast.

...of course, another alternative (besides what I suggested above) is to take the bus to TTC and hop on the monorail THERE...

...when I'm in a big hurry, I catch the first bus to any of the parks. Then, once I arrive, I go to the bus depot to whichever RESORT I need to get to (with the exception of MK to Contemporary and vice-versa, since there is no bus that goes between these two locations)...

And you don't take MK to Contemporary is because you take monorail? Am I following this?

And you don't take MK to Contemporary is because you take monorail? Am I following this?

...there ARE no buses from MK to the Contemporary (or vice-versa)....the only transportation options are:
1) walking [I've done this - it's about a 6-7 minute walk]
2) monorail
3) boat (they go to CR, then WL, then Ft W)

...if you take a bus to EPCOT, when you arrive, walk towards the entrance but turn LEFT to board the monorail. This takes you to MK (NOT the TTC), where you can get off this one and board the OTHER monorail, which goes to all the 'Monorail Resorts', as well as the TTC and MK. Or, you can walk down the ramp of the monorail [at MK] and board one of the small 'friendships' that go to CR, WL, and FtW. Of course, the 3rd option is to pass the boats altogether and just walk (you'll walk past the bus depot and you must cross a small street, but it's doable)....

It is like transportation for dummies (which at the moment fits my knowledge level on this topic).

Heloooooo Coronado!!!

We just booked for a trip back to the world, Coronado Springs 8/20-8/28. We were at beach club, but I couldn't justify the extra $$$ when I know I love CSR, and the price. :)
