I'm currently planning and booking our big Canada/Alaska/Anaheim trip for August and September.
It's not uncommon for me to get to the Disney portion of our trips and just try to cram as much in as possible, which absolutely wrecks my husband and kids. So I need some outside perspective, from people who "get it"
Anyway, we will have just done 2 weeks driving around the Canadian Rockies in a motorhome, followed by a 7 night Alaskan Disney cruise. Our cruise ends on September 15th, we have a night in Vancouver followed by a 8:45am flight to LAX, which lands at 11:45am.
We only have a 3 day (1 park per day) ticket for Disney, but if I can I also want to get tickets to OBB. The nights available for OBB while we're there will be the 16th - so the day we arrive, or the 18th.
Would I be pushing my family too hard by booking the 16th?
I figured we could arrive in LA, make our way to Anaheim, have lunch at some point and a nap/rest. Then head to OBB when we're able to get in.
Then we'd have the 17th/18th/19th at the parks.
Then on the 20th we're heading to Universal studios and staying at a hotel there for the night before flying home late on the 21st.
I'm excited for this plan, but now I'm worried about pushing too much and maybe we should spend the 16th resting, maybe shopping, then have the 17th/18th/19th at the parks, including OBB on the 18th...
It's all so hard to plan for other people
My kids will be 7 and 12, so it's looking like this will be our first Disneyland trip without a stroller, and that concerns me too
we've done Hong Kong Disney without a stroller, but there's not as much walking involved there.
Someone tell me what to do!!
