Copper Creek prices...where are they headed??

Anyone care to speculate about the points prices for Copper Creek on the resale market going forward? We LOVE Copper Creek but can get more points initially at AKL. Would you buy at CC in the next few months or start at AKL? We would be happy at either resort...

My feeling is that CC could go up a bit, while AKL will be stable around the same value it has since few months.
I am also considering CC as add on. Seller tend to be a bit less flexible than AKL owner on price (probably because they are on average newer to DVC?).

I'd suggest buying at Copper Creek if you love it. You can probably stay at AKL when you want. It's much harder to get availability at Copper Creek at 7 months out. Keep in mind that CC studios are harder to find due to the fact that the cabins add so many points in to the system.

I wouldn't buy CCV unless you travel in the summertime or routinely book 1 bedrooms. Studios are very difficult to get, even at 11 months and it would not be a surprise to see a reallocation that makes them more expensive.

Hopefully, they go up so I'm not tempted to buy a third contract there. I know so many people say they have issues with booking studios there but I haven't had that issue, we are in our 11 month window and booked one just this morning. This will be my fourth time booking with no trouble, with previous travel dates being in October, December, and March but maybe I am just lucky.

Are you wanting to stay at AKV or CCV? If you want to be at CCV then buy there. Studios are not easy they say though.

What draws you to AKV? Cheaper?

I always just say you should stay at AKV once before buying there the transportation can be hideous. Ya people talk about how they never have issues I go off the reports of people that do and my personal experience of multiple 1hr waits just for a bus to show up during our last trip staying there (Sept 2019).
