Contemporary to MGM, best route?

We are staying at the Contemporary for the first time in May. I know we can hop on the monorail but I am not sure about bus operations. Can we catch a bus directly from the CR to MGM? Do we need to ride monorail to TCC and then catch a bus? Would it be easier to ride monorail to EPCOT and walk thru to other side to catch launch to MGM?

A common misconception for folks staying at the Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian is that they need to go to the Transportation Center to go to the Studios, Animal Kingdom, or Downtown Disney. The Monorail will only take you to Epcot and the Magic Kingdom.

We provide direct transportation from the resort for Studios, DAK, and DTD. The bus stop for the Contemporary is just outside the main lobby.
