Wardfamily, I missed your prayer request beneath your joke earlier, and I'm sorry for that. Prayers and positive thoughts.

Blestmom, I love the moose pics. Those are awesome! We have elk here...not quite as big but still potentially very dangerous. Heck, that big doe I posted a pic of could kick you to death easily enough. I've tried a dozen times to convince the dog that he should leave her alone before she kicks his butt all over the yard...but I guess he's going to have to learn the hard way or not at all.

OMG that reminds me...have you guys ever gotten the email about the guy who tried to rope a deer? I really don't know if it is true or not but it is HYSTERICAL. I don't think I've ever laughed that hard before or since.

Are we faultless? H*LL NO! But, in our short history we have been symbolized as an unwavering bulwark of human liberty. I prefer the image of the rattlesnake that bites relentlessly when threatened, which is exactly what makes us sometimes scary. Especially lately, when Americans have felt threatened not only by foreign enemies, but also by some within our own political system.

What a beautiful animal! I've never seen a moose in the wild. Not sure if I've ever seen one in person at a zoo somewhere, either. God sure does make some beautiful creatures.

I don't normally request prayers but I am asking for one now. DFIL was having surgery Monday to clear a corrodid artery. He ended up having a stroke either during or shortly after the operation. He's having trouble speaking and using his right arm. I can't believe the hospital even let him go because he couldn't even sign his name to leave. He's back in the hospital right now and will be there for a couple of days. If you all would please include him in your prayers I'd really appreciate it. (Thanks in advance)
