I have read here that there are some changes to the DDP. First the gratuity is no long included and second that there will no longer be an appetizer included. I have searched the board to try and find out when this is all supposed to begin with no luck. I also checked disney's website and see the notation that gratuity is no longer included but it still shows and appetizer, entree, desert, and drink included in the lunch and dinner TS selections. What am I missing? TIA

All the changes began Jan. 1, 2008.

There are now 2 plans.

The basic dining plan (DDP) which consists of 1 counter service(CS), 1 table service(TS) and 1 snack per person per night of your stay. The CS is like a fast food combo meal plus drink and desert. The TS is entree, desert and drink- no appetizer.

The delux dining plan (DxDP) consists of 3 meals per day, 2 snacks and a refillable mug per person per night of stay. The meals can be used in any combination of CS or TS. The TS meals DO include appetizer.

Neither plan includes the tip with the exception of Dinner shows or Cinderella's Royal Table (CRT) Those meals require 2 TS credits per person and the tip is included.

or at least thats the way I understand it.

Bicker- you out there?

I forget about the little ones. My kids are 11 and 16 so we all count as "adults".

Child meal still includes the appetizer at a TS

Thank you. I see it now. I guess it's the (guests ages 3-9) that threw me. I wasn't paying enough attention to see that I just saw the word appetizer:rolleyes1
