For the people that don't understand the basic points of masking, the swab test is almost a moot exercise because the swab in their nose reaches in vain towards an empty cavity where their brain is supposed to be.
Most of the people asking aren't the people who are relying on those places for their income. They are just mad because they can't go to the gym, to the bar, get their haircut, etc.
This! The ppl I tend to come in contact with at Walmart are VERY different than what I see in wdw. Plus ppl say you spend 30-60 min at Walmart. But I spend that much time at least once a week if not more. I don’t go to wdw once a week.
Most things aren't essential to life. No one has to have a haircut, go to a concert or go on vacation to live. If it was only about making sure everyone could pay their bills, people could have donated money to all the service providers they would normally use. Many also offered gift cards. More importantly people should be encouraging the Federal government to make sure everyone in this country is provided for, until this pandemic is over. That could be done without risking lives, but too many people don't want their money to go toward anything they don't benefit from. All that said, this still has nothing to do with the topic of the thread.
Do you even know what you are saying any more? Keeping people from getting sick (from COVID) is the whole point of keeping certain business sectors closed or open with modifications.
We all wish that everyone who wants to work could do so. That doesn't happen in normal times. It's definitely not possible, during a pandemic.
