Pete, Alex, everybody in charge of the Boards & Dis site, I hope you guys read this. I just finished watching your new podcasts on YouTube and I wanted to speak out about what you said about the software migration. I'm very knowledgeable about software myself and I must say that I'm extremely excited & happy that you guys updated the place. By human nature, there's going to some people that hate change, sad to say. But Pete, glad that you was blunt about your reasons for the change. As far as I'm concerned, the naysayers should be thankful you said anything at all. Cause let's be real here, you and the webmasters could've made the changes at will without telling us a thing. But out of principal and good faith, you guys decided to tell us about the change. Anyway guys, thanks for all that you're doing to make our community here a better place, I loved being here prior to the change but I love it even more after.

And to the naysayers who don't like the change, here's some food for thought. Disney makes changes to their parks, vacation packages, ticket prices, etc all the time whether we like it or not. And yet, we all still go there even if we don't like the changes. Why? Because of how it makes us feel when we go there, the people, characters, dining, the overall experience. The Dis Boards, to me, are the same thing but in a smaller package. We come here for the experience, to learn new things, be around like minded people, the overall experience about all things Disney. So who cares about the look, tone, or whatever? That's not that important. As long as we can share ideas, learn something and enjoy the experience, I feel nobody should complain about anything. Ok, I'm done. LOL.

those with disABILITIES such as myself have to adjust to many things every day so change is generally not a big deal BUT when you move from a system that was very easy for me as a visually impaired person to navigate to something that is so completely different in layout you can't expect me to so easily adapt.
and its not just the layout but the color scheme.
it literally hurts my eyes which is not just an inconvenience but actually forces me to only be on here for a few minutes at a time.
how can i have the same experience with those types of issues?

Hello Disney World Dreamer, my posting wasn't referring to Mouseketeers such as yourself, I was referring to the posters that are griping or nitpicking about the small stuff like the way a button looks, tiny things y'know? I'm sorry that you're having trouble using it cause of your disability and I'm sorry if I offended you in anyway, that wasn't my intention. I'm just saying that, with the exception of those that have a disability, some people shouldn't be complaining about a change that will be beneficial for ALL of us in the long run. Thankfully, according to what Pete said in the podcast, they're making sure to make the Boards easier for every poster, hopefully it'll be resolved soon. :)

Like it or not you can't deny the app was streamlined in comparison. It is now like a mini desktop. And by mini -- I mean mini.

Please bring back the app. It was so clean and quick to navigate.
