Comcast email

Is anyone else having trouble with their email this morning?
Mine keeps prompting for my password.
When I tried to call Comcast I got a message to call back later due to the high volume of calls.

Yup, same thing is happening with my comcast email this morning. It worked fine last night.

I've been trying to email to a comcast address and it keeps coming back undeliverable - to two different addresses that I know are right.

I hate the new mail system. I am busily moving everyone to GMAIL and then will just ignore it!

The ONLY reason I use Comcast at all is that my phone lines are too "old" to do DSL well!

So gald everyone else is having problems too. No wait, that didn't sound nice, what I meant is that I thought maybe it was only me. We switched to dsl a few months ago but still get some mail through our old comcast addresses. I've been switching everything over, one email account at a time, but hate all those extra passwords and log-ins/outs to check each account.

A friend has GMAIL and raves about it. Can you put multiple addresses on one account thru GMAIL and check them all at once or use outlook express to check with gmail addresses? My other original email was at yahoo, and while I use it all the time for ebay and IM, it'd be a bit pricey to pay the extra on 4 accounts to download into my OE.

There is a message on the voice mail at Comcast that says they are experiencing higher call volumes due to a mail outage. Their staff are working on fixing it.

I just talked to Comcast. It is down everywhere and they are expecting it back up tonight.

My email is fine. Not down in Southeastern MA. I have a comcast account and also a yahoo account. I get all my comcast mail forwaded automatically to my yahoo account so i only have to open my yahoo to get all email fromboth. It is so much easier and you still get it when comcast is down.
