Coldest/Hottest it's ever been at WDW.

I've been there in the heat of August and the chill of December.

The hottest I've ever seen it was in May of 2002. The air temp was 97 and the dew point was 81!!

The coldest.... December of 1999. I got up one morning and it was 39 with a wind chill of 30. Believe it or not, I still saw people in short shorts and tank tops.

Last July it was hazy hot and humid think the RH was the same as the temp 97-100 almost everyday!

Last December we were there and it was qite cool - some nights dropped down to the mid 30's BRRR!

FYI, according to Weatherbase.com, the highest temp in Orlando the last 26 years is 100, recorded in May, June and July (coming close in April, August, Sept and Oct), and the lowest is 20, in December.

I know that this is just heat index and not actual tempertature, but last year in July it was 110 one day and I believe it was 105 the next!

We woke up in a tent in Fort Wilderness in December, 1980 (we spent Christmas and New Year's there) and couldn't get out...the zipper was frozen shut! The tent had a small leak in it, and it had rained the day before. My son's sleeping bag was frozen to the puddle.

The following year, the same week, it was over 90 degrees at least three days!

We avoid the summer months, although May, 2001 was almost 100 degrees!

Last December was really chilly, too. I wore my winter coat one night, and a jacket and sweater the rest of the evenings.

well, I live in Orlando, and I am going with the question......(opposed to coldest its ever been here)

About a month ago, me and my friend went to Animal Kingdom (and since its the hottest park) and her car temperature gage was saying 102.....

In january, me and my friends went to MK and it was 28 degrees......(we saw it on the merita bread sign haha)....just a thought....NEVER go on the Speedway when its cold......that is the MOST FREEZING RIDE EVER when it is cold....we dunno why

Last year, my partner and I took a spontaneous trip to WDW with the hope of catching some nice, hot weather. NYC had been in the midst of a rather cold start to the fall and I was already tired of it.
Wouldn't you know it? On our first morning, we woke up and turned on the Weather channel. Orlando was in the midst of a cold snap and it was in the low 40's while NYC was enjoying a freak moment of downright hot weather in the mid 80's!

Darn you weather Gods! (shaking fist at the heavens)
