Codes and Discounts in previous years

I am curious about the codes and discounts that they have had before. Like the 40% off. Is this something new or have they done it before? The reason why I am asking is because we really don't think we'll get to go this year so we are planning a trip in dec 08 and I like to know what kind of DIScounts (buh dum bum hehe ) I might expect and should be on the look out for.

I think the 40% off is a pin code offer but mousesaver.com has a list of historical public discount rates and AP rates on its website.
