CMO TOP 10 Announced

I like your new one better (FWIW)...it makes you look more happy and just seems to be cleaner.

I finished the countdown calendar this morning at 2AM...then realized that in my haste to finish I went from #1 - 30 and not 30 to 1. Oh well...we'll just work from the bottom to the top. DD liked it but wanted to take off all the days...didn't understand the concept of only one per day.

My Disney ABC book is coming slowly. I completed up through F.

If you want to see any pictures, just go to my May '08 TR...the first post has the updated post numbers so you can go straight to the photos.

Trying to type up a "third final itinerary" for Disney...I'm sure there will be a lot more changes...Disney changed the hours for two of the parks since I checked last but most everything else stayed the same.

Whew -- long post.

What are you doing?

Well, just relaxing - I had a busy week at work - and I'm going to have to put in some hours this weekend to make sure everything's done before I leave for my big adventure on Tuesday.

You know I usually have things planned out pretty well, but since this is a last minute trip, and I'm going solo, I'm going to just try to go with the flow! I've been to WDW enough times that I don't have to do everything everytime. Some things, of course, have to be done multiple times everytime!

Anyway, I'm going to make note of which mornings/evenings have the extra magic hours, and those are going to be my main targets. Herman's Hermits and Grass Roots are 2nd targets. After that, I'm going to do my best to just...be spontaneous! I imagine it's easier to do that when you're on your own!

There is one thing I'm wondering about - the Pirates and Princess Parties. I LOVE going to the Mickey's Halloween dealy, just to see all the kids in costume! I get such a kick out of it. I'm trying to decide if I should spend that extra money to see the kids, plus the fireworks which I hear are great!

Anyone done the party who wants to advise?

Hey, Cat! Have you made any ADRs for your trip next week?

No, I probably won't do any table service. It'll be more practical for me to just hit the counter services. There are plenty of good ones!

I am thinking of trying to get over to AKL to eat at Boma one time. I love that place for either lunch or dinner! Plus I could walk around and say hi to all the animals. They've had a baby zebra and a baby giraffe recently, and I think they may be out on the savannahs by now!

Most people I hear from love the P&PP. We are going for our first time on May 9th -- hoping DD will either stay awake or nap in her stroller so we can enjoy it.

We probably won't dress up only b/c we are pack-mules and always pack too much. I'm trying to get down to one suitcase and one carry-on per person...Instead I'm going to order some Pirate shirts from CafePress...need to do that, now.

Mine will have skull and crossbones which are actually scissors and say "Prepare to be Scrapbooked!" in Lime Green...DH's will be Captain Dad with skull and crossbones and DD will be a cute litte pirate with a bow that says "Pirette".

Actually, DH just changed to the shirt that has a stick pirate on it and says, "A father's life for me!"

Yeah, my one solo trip to Disney was soooo much fun -- no plans, no ADRs, just wandering around going with the flow...I haven't tried that with DH and DD yet...and we'll have my parents with us for part of the time, too...so I feel like we need some sort of plan.

Boma -- YUM!!

So did you go down to see the Cherry Blossoms yet? We were in DC last week for the circus and saw that it was also the Kite Festival -- so very cool! The blossoms were opened yet though.

Funny! I was going to ask you the same question!

I'd like to try it this weekend, but the weather has been so dreary, drizzly and cold... There's supposed to be a fireworks display tomorrow night overlooking the Potomac River. The Parade is next weekend, which also would be cool to attend!

Side note: I've only attended the Parade of the National Cherry Blossom Festival once. I was a kid at the time, so it was literally half a lifetime ago (or more!). My one vivid memory of the event? These guys dressed in hazmat suits, who followed closely behind the horses with "pooper scoopers" in tow. They sort of danced along with the music, too, which I thought enhanced the festive atmosphere! ('Probably not my "dream job," but they definitely appeared to be making the most of it! :thumbsup2)

Now that's clever and entertaining! I love it! :thumbsup2

So what's up with you? Now that Marshay left, I guess it's just us...

Kind of quiet...

Well, it is a Friday night... Either the late-shift hasn't yet arrived, or everyone is out partying! ;)

'Not much going on here. (We're still in the process of putting the kids to bed... :rolleyes1 We're what you'd call late-night people! )

"Oh, wait! Someone's at the door! ... It's Child Services!" :scared1:

They probably want to give you another kid!!

And I'm still available for adoption as an Aunt!

Good evening all!!

Just got in from work, sat down at the puter, and now the rest of the crew is arriving. :lmao:

Will get back in a little while.

Hi Cathie,

I say YES to the P&P pirate: princess:

Super fun and the parade is awesome! The pirates swing on, off and around the ship on ropes......very cool!

Oh noooooo... that sounds like us. We were heading with the girls to a movie premier one night. We stopped at a restaraunt. My wife got my 4 year old a plate of spaghetti. It took more time for Chunk to drop the painting (Goonies ref btw) than it did for that plate to end up in my lap. I was supposed to host the movie premier, but had to call in.

Sorry your date wasn't great.

Wow! I have a ton of catching up to do. This was supposed to be a slow week for me, but we lost (he resigned) an employee and I had to pick up some slack at work.

I totally missed Big Thunder driving off Miss Ann, but I HEARD ALL ABOUT IT! I hope you are back Ann and that all is well... now let me back track and survey the damage.

Good to hear from you Tripp! Sorry for your spaghetti pants......nice visual though! Gave me a laugh! :rotfl2:

Hope to hear more from you later after you catch up a bit.

Have a great night - day - or afternoon - whenever it is that you're reading this! :)

And I'm still available for adoption as an Aunt!

Oh! I completely missed your second comment the first go-around!

Yep! We'll take one Catotigger "Auntie" for the kids! (Your nickname alone should earn you an instant fan-base and undying loyalty! ;) )
