If it makes you feel any better, I'd like to recount the details of Mr. DISgeeks' and my third wedding anniversary: We had a one-month-old newborn. Mr. DISgeeks had a headache. I drove (alone) to the mall to pick up Baja Fresh take-out and to shop for nursing "essentials" and baby socks.**

An up-beat addendum to my sad, sad story: My folks
did offer to babysit for us a few weeks later when we were visiting them for the holidays. We managed to have dinner at a very nice restaurant. So, take heart! There's still hope!
One day -- hopefully in the not-so-distant future -- you'll be able to reread this post and laugh out loud at it! (I mean -- truly! -- there's a shred of humor in it ... or at least in that "drive thru forces" comment!
