How can I count the number of nice things that have happened to us this week so far?? I can't... but here's some examples:

I bought the POC Game of Life at the OKW gift shop for my DD 13th birthday. Jim (love ya!! mean it!!) arranged for it to be delivered to the room while we were out - - it was a total surprise for her!!!! Way to go that extra mile!!!!!!!!! She was SO surprised!!

Yesterday at 50s Prime Time... my 10 yo DD asked the ladies at check in if they had nutrition guides. (Part of her homework is to get those from places we eat... guess what - there don't seem to be any!) Anyway - - - the hostess went back to talk to the chef. THEN she came back with recipes and said to DD that she was going to get to go back and meet the chef!! DD looked at me a little scared, I gave her a push on the rump and said "go for it baby, it's fine!" She was all smiles when she came back - she got a tour of the kitchen and the chef gave her a pin. WOW! Great stuff for her journal - another homework assignment!

The birthday girl got lots of Happy Birthdays while she was in MK for her big day - of course that made her feel very important.

Kudos to Barbara at the HH at OKW - I understand she really helped my brother yesterday too!!!!

I LOVE WDW!

It's been a great trip with 3 full days left!

Thanks for posting this :)
We, only too often get too hear about the negatives, so it's nice to hear about the positives, too!
Glad you are enjoying your trip!

When things like this happen, be sure to note the CM's name and badge number and report it to a superior on site, or send it in an email directly to Disney. This usually gets them recognition in their CM newsletter!

Just a few more reasons that tells me buying into DVC was the right thing to do. There is still alot more good then bad out there in the World :sunny:

Absolutely. ABSOLUTELY! SPOT ON! Glad you bought in.

I don't want to jinx it, but there hasn't been one thing to complain about. Oh - yeah - I wanted non-smoking, 1st floor, by the hospitality house. We got non-smoking, first floor, but we are WAAAAAY over in building 17... :teeth: ha ha! In other words, totally satisfied. (room 1313 would have been better, but it was occupado.) no really, i'm happy - can you tell? chock full of pixie dust! :cloud9:

Diane - you are so right - jim is back today, so i'll be sure to get his badge number... he is great. Example - Last year DD9 fell in love with our rented pal mickey. he broke, so i bought her a brand spanking new one. She didn't like the new one - she wanted the one she had spent the days with and had obviously personalized... Jim and I compared new to rented, and he made the new one look exactly like the rented one (no belt clip, broken zipper pull etc..) how sweet!!!! She's sure to this day it's the same one.. PHEW! :goodvibes

Notes like that can also, in the long run, help with promotions and bonuses. So they're very much appreciated both by CMs and by the company.

Damn. I wish I was a bit more observent. When we were down in Feb DD7 walked into the column at the exit of Mickey's Philharmagic. She got a bloody nose and bled all over her 1 hour old Tinkerbell sweatshirt! The CM at the shop just outside got her ice and paper towels and while we were dealing with the blood took the initiative to go and get permission to get us a replacement sweatshirt. Not only this, but she also called around looking for the nearest shop we could go to get it because they didnt have the same one. She did a lot to calm DD7 down and made a bad situation tolerable.

I wish I could remember her name so I could write in on her behalf. I do this all the time. I need to be more observant!
