Im so hoping that CV is still on in September but ive heard it's getting changed to something Star Wars related

I don't want you SW fans to gang up on me but I hope this isn't the case! They need to keep something Villains-themed alive & this event is so perfect. Even back when we attended the first CV and the March dates had been cancelled (and not reinstated yet) the rumor was that it was b/c something SW related would be happening that month.
So I'm very sorry I have to hope against some of you, but I want Club Villain to stay .

WDWToday: "Hi there! The last date that's been announced is May 28, 2016!"

MsGraceyP: "Thanks. I do know that... wondering if it will be extended with little notice as Disney has been doing with many offerings these days"

WDWToday: "Hi again! There haven't been any plans announced. If anything changes, it will definitely be posted on the Disney Parks Blog!"



WHY POST ABOUT THIS ON TWITTER ON MAY 12, WHEN IT ENDS ON MAY 28 AND YOU HAVE NO NEWS ABOUT EXTENDING OR NOT?!?!! Is there a "head exploding" emoji??!?!? Not bursting into flames, but just EXPLODING!?!

I am a SW fan and I still agree with you. The villains aren't well represented in the parks and this sounds like a great event. I would prefer them to keep it the way it is. Or ideally, keep CV, but add a SW event on a different night.

at this point you just have to laugh not to cry...on the HUB I saw that starting May Club Villain is being tore down/loaded out so it's not looking good for an extension

Starting May when? During the Saturday nights they are fully booked? That makes no sense!!!

That is what that site does. They are ALWAYS posting REALLY OLD news. Just this week they posted BREAKING NEWS with a picture of blue prints with coloring showing the new entry that will be built for DHS with SWLand. WELL this news is about 15+ months old, not even close to breaking. The blueprint was filed last October so nothing new there. They colored in some stuff and put it out there as BREAKING. Unless they are posting a here now photo of something happening .... odds are it's not new information.

It's too bad because the whole point of the flex theater is to be able to do different things on different nights. DS and I have been discussing for some time and we felt like the summer crowds may not have been their best market but the folks heading to MNSSHP and Food & Wine are prime demographic. Perhaps it will come back in the fall. And maybe you will see a SW event this summer.

I'm so bummed to hear this! We weren't able to fit a second CV night into our last trip and I was hoping we'd get a chance to go back on a future trip. Hopefully they put something equally as good in its place!

I'm SOOOOO glad we got to see this in April but I am SOOOO sad for all of you that had still hoped to see it!! What a disappointment - it was a GREAT night!

Well at least I can scratch it off the plans. Now I just need to know if there will be a Star Wars dessert party in June. Really wish we could have a had a chance to see it!
