Club Villain

I would not cancel CV, it's amazing and you may not get another chance to do it!

That may be the last night of the existing SW fireworks, however, if the new show starts as planned, so if you are a big SW fan I'd try to work them in another night. Or stalk an earlier CV ADR.

We are huge Star Wars fans and huge villians fans...for us, neither of these could be missed and we worked our schedule to do both (including foregoing our DVC discount to go to the early show and reworking our park days when they announced it). If you are a fan of either - I would work both in (this assumes you have never seen the SW fireworks...we do love F! But we missed CV for that and were totally okay with it having seen it before and the chance to see it again in the future)

Last I heard, ROL wasn't going to open until July, so you'll be fine!!!
OMG:scared1: ROL is getting way out of hand! (Nothing I thought was supposed to be up and running is... SWGSF, Froway, ROL) I think Disney just wants us to wait until our Honeymoon in December to experience all the new things they have to offer:laughing:

I really believe that this night will be what you make of it - don't think twice about it still being fun for you if your drop off your kiddo at the sandcastle club - it will still be great!!

Now - whether there will be any adults dancing to the Harlem Shake is another story!
LOL, now that I would love to see! I'm so excited to go, only 33 more days ;). I'm actually more a fan of family-friendly theming so it's all good!

Thank you both for your help :).

Do you know if there are many people who cancel their reservations for this? We booked a trip a couple of weeks ago, and of course, all the tickets for this were sold out. I would love to attend, but I don't want to get my hopes up for last minute tickets. We can be a party of 1, 2, or 4.

I am going to CV on 5:45 on saturday..is it possible to also get to fatasmic without fastpasses? I do have family members not going to CV, when should they get on line at Fantasmic and can they save seats?

My friend picked up a cancellation not long ago. You'll just need to keep trying to book. I think the cancellation deadline is the day before, so don't forget to try then.

Does anyone know when will the September dates open? what discounts are offered I saw DVC and AP?

It's not being offered past May at this time. I don't think anybody knows when or if it will be extended past that.

Currently AP/DVC is $99. Started out just for the 9 pm but somebody here got it applied to the 5:45. No other discounts.

It's not child-oriented, there's no child price. But many parents apparently believe that it is worth paying the price to bring their kids. Nothing to keep them away if the parents want to pay for it.

Thanks I read great things about it and we don't have children :o. We wanted to do it this past trip but we had DMIL and DFIL with us so we knew it wasn't going to happend. We have an AP and we will probably do the 9pm anyway. I really hope they extend it.

We went to CV last weekend to celebrate DP's birthday--I had a surprise planned but couldn't share it here in advance (she's on the boards too) but now I'll spill the beans! We bounded as 2 other villainous women--she was Ursula and I was Lady Tremaine. My bound was pretty simple--dark purple pants, wine sweater, and a green pendant. I made her a tulle skirt in Ursula's colours (black and purple, mostly). We had such a blast--the characters reacted to us as our bounds and were so much fun. The other staff at CV were also really receptive, and other guests too! Most people weren't really dressed up but the few who were looked amazing.

TL;DR: I know a few people have talked about their plans to dress up a bit for CV. You won't feel out of place in regular theme park gear, but if you have the energies to do something a bit more unique, I think you'll have an even more amazing experience

If my son's (he is 15) annual pass is still active until November and mind is expired, can I still book this with a discount and use his annual pass to purchase at the discount or does it have to be an adult annual pass? He only went on the second family trip last year, so his annual pass was not activated until Nov. and is still active. This trip we have tickets as part of a conference, so don't plan to buy a new annual pass just yet.

Don't see why not. You only need an AP when you book it. He wouldn't even have to attend to get the discount either.

For those that have gone recently, would you say it's becoming more kid-oriented? This has sounded like more of an adult-type experience up until now and while I adore kids, I was looking forward to a more adult vibe at this event. Our kiddo will be enjoying Sandcastle Club while we attend CV, and I am hoping it hasn't lost that more mature experience that people have talked about.
I got reservations for my DS and DDIL to have a date night, while DH and I take kiddos 3 and 5 to meet Cinderella, Prince and family at the GF.

I just checked the website again to see if Club Villain was extended and it isn't showing up at all :( Can anyone else see it? I'm really hoping to see the show during my August trip!

Im so hoping that CV is still on in September but ive heard it's getting changed to something Star Wars related
