I should know this as I’ve previously bought two resale contracts, but how will I know when my deed has been recorded? Do I need to check the land registry or will the closing agent inform me? We closed today so I’m hoping it might be recorded tomorrow.

I'm wondering if it's already been recorded and just not reflected on the website yet. At least that's my hope and that Disney has it now. Hoping I have my account by end of next week.

Check the Orange County comptroller website. Do a search by your last name.

Still waiting on the last parts, but we have finally closed! I cannot speak highly enough of my title company and broker. They were professional, quick, efficient and responsive every step of the way, even when I pestered them, lowballed, and had sellers dragging their feet. I strongly recommend them both!

Well I was convinced today would be the day my new contract showed up on my membership. It was looking like the last few people had about 8 days between the deed recording and contract showing on membership. I’ve checked so many times today I think the DVC site thought I was a bot . Fingers crossed tomorrow is the day. For those who have recently had contracts show up on their membership, was it in the morning or anytime of day?

I closed 5/15, recorded 5/16, nothing showing on the website yet. Sigh. So you may want to temper expectations accordingly. I’ve been checking the site like a crazy person.
