They have until the day before the “must (or will) close by” date in the contract. If they don’t send everything in by then and don’t ask for and receive approval from you to postpone the closing date, they’re in default. You’ll get your deposit back and, unfortunately, have to start over.
Did you have to do anything to add the membership to your profile. I remember with my first contract, I had to wait for two emails. Does this automatically just get added?
I looked all over my closing documents and the only date that I see is 5/20/2024 by the title company’s signature. I’m assuming that must be the closing date. I haven’t heard anything yet, I suppose next week. Nerve wrecking to say the least.
Yes, nerve wracking it is! You might reach out to the broker if you haven’t already to confirm that’s the close-by date and what your options are if the sellers don’t make it.
The 2 CMs I had contacted couldn’t do it for me either. Took a full week after the contract showed up on my dashboard. No reason why. They just say the points aren’t “ready”? Whatever that means.
Asked through chat the day after the contract showed up and he reached out to someone to get it loaded. Just said I had a vacation I was trying to book in December so there was some urgency on our end if they would be kind enough to load the points.
This was my first contract and I did have to wait for two emails. As soon as I received the second one, I went online, logged in and the instructions were to call member services form an "orientation" phone call. I called right away and that call was about 30 minutes long. The castmember I spoke to said it would 5 days for my points to load. The next day, I logged in and via the chat feature asked if they can load my points. The response was "we'll see what we can do--please hold on for a few minutes" After a few minutes, points were loaded!

I've asked them to expedite since the beginning, as I had a previous contract where the seller backed out, but it appears to be following a fairly regular timeline. Hoping to book my target room for a March 2025 trip (although unsure if we might move it at the 7mo mark due to BLT refurb). Checking room category availability daily
