Yeah, you are missing something. It's much closer to VWL, SSR, BCV than OKW. It is just that sometimes the toilet has a door between it and the rest of the space.

I'm drawing a blank, VWL? I thought I knew all the DVC resorts. Oh, wait, is that the Villas at Wilderness Lodge?

Who on this board would pay an extra $59 per night for a water view room at BWI vs a standard room?

We are staying 2 nights Swan and 5 nights at BWI and are trying to decide if the view is worth it. We kinda think it would be AWESOME, but that's assuming water view means boardwalk view

It is so worth it!

I would and do pay for it. We stay club level every year at BWI and love having a Boardwalk view. Some say it is noisy but to us it is part of the atmosphere that we love:love: Can't wait to be back in May:cool1:

This worries me a bit since what we enjoy about the Poly is how peaceful it is...now we do have a standard room booked so maybe that is a good thing?

Does club level guarantee boardwalk view?

Should have added that we usually stay in a deluxe room so like the above post said it is guaranteed a BW view. We have stayed every year at BW CL since 2005 so a couple of times when we have not stayed in a deluxe room we requested a BW fiew. You know what though. If we did not get it, the Boardwalk is just a few steps away:cloud9:

I think I'm confused about how the Boardwalk is laid out...are there seperate buildings? (I'm used to requesting a specific building at other Disney resorts) If I book a standard room can I request to be as close to the main lobby as possible?

It's just one big happy building. With hallways from the Twilight Zone. People complain about the halls going on forever. But I've been to other resort with several building and at least at Boardwalk you're indoors.

Just booked BWI for May 14 to the 22nd. Southwest flights were too good to pass up. Hope to finally get to see sftbank.

Ask for view of the quiet pool, that is if you're staying on the inn side. Very peaceful, beautiful. You have the fountain, the roses, the pool, etc. sometimes a view of illuminations.

Or is standard and garden considered different? I can't remember. When we go standard we always get view of quiet pool. Were we just lucky?

Kerry-Like Nascargirl said-1 day! 1 day! That is not even right!:scratchin How do we do this every year?:confused3
