Reservations for 4 on May 15th

We had 3 phones going at the same time.
1. Land Line......wife manning this phone.
2. Cell......me
3. Cell......me

My wife got in after 20 seconds and got an 8:15 reservation for 4. I got a 9:15 5 minutes later. We were very happy to get CRT our first day of calling. We thought we would be calling every morning this week. Later today I will be canceling the 9:15 reservation. If anyone wants me to post when I cancel I will....

I just wanted to publicly thank dollydimple for all her work in changing her extra CRT PS to me and my family.... She went above and beyond for me and I truly truly appreciate it

When I called my SIL to tell her that we got the PS and I said you are never going to believe how--and she answered EBAY? and I said no better THIS BOARD!!!!

She was like why would she go to all the trouble and I said because she is just a nice person so Nancy thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Was able to get PS today for May 16, our first full day at the World.
Our trip is getting more "real" to me now that I'm able to make the PS. Haven't been to WDW since 1985, and I know I'm going to be blown away with all the new everythings................

We have a PS for 8:20 in the morning - but the park isn't open yet. Could someone tell me the best game plan for getting to the castle on time? We are staying off-site, but our breakfast is the second day we will be at the Magic Kingdom, so we will know how long it takes to get to the entrance. Where do we go from there? The Castle is at the end of Main Street, yes? but where do we enter it to get to the breakfast if the rest of the park isn't open yet?

I tried for CRT this morning, but not only had to press 1, 1, but it also wanted me to enter my resort number or home number, and then asked me for my home phone number (again), THEN I had to choose whether this was my first time at WDW or if I had been to WDW in the last five years. At this rate, I'll never get a CRT reservation in time. Does anyone have any suggestions?

What number did you call? I get the same prompt when I use the 800 number but got right in on 407-WDW-DINE this a.m. The Weather Channel and my cell phone clock both actually showned 6:59 a.m. when the call went through.

How many is your requested reservation for? I was able to get a reservation for 4 this a.m. I hesitate to say this - because I know how delicate a matter CRT ressies are ( ) and I don't want to get your hopes up, but I am going to try again tomorrow morning for a 5/17 reservation. If I am able to get it, I will be happy to coordinate calling with you for the 5/16 reservation if you can use one for 4! I'll let you know! Good luck getting through tomorrow - sending Pixie Dust your way!

I appreciate the pixie dust! I was trying on WDW-DINE also. I'll just have to try and time how long it takes me to make all the choices. I appreciate your offer. We are actually a party of 8, but the family of 4 traveling with us has never been to CRT before. If I can only get a table for 4, we will bow out and let the other family take it. Pixie dust back to you for your efforts tomorrow! As the old saying goes, "I'll be back" trying tomorrow also!

Thanks for all the tips of getting a PS for Cinderella's! I called at 5:59 my time this morning and after pressing 1 then 1 my call was immediately picked up! Yay!! lol I'm so excited that I was able to get one for the time I wanted.

I used the 407 WDW-DINE number. As soon as they start to say "If you're calling to schedule for Victoria & Albert's" press 1 then 1 again (don't let any time lapse between the 1's). Start pressing at the "If you're............

Oh my goodness Laura! LOL I just checked this board to see how everyone is doing with their Cindy reservations and I see all these thank-you's from you! LOL You and your family are very welcome! I am glad you will all be able to use it. eBay... now that's funny!! Have a great time!

TupperMom, you just show up at the entrance like normal. There will be a separate line for guests with a PS (I believe they actually check your name on the PS list to let you into the line). I recomend getting there a couple of minutes before 8:00 as I think they open the gate for PS holders at that time. Then you can take a leisurely stroll up Main Street and take in the atmosphere when there is hardly anyone in the park. This is one of our favorite things to do.

Just wanted to let you know that I was successful this morning for CRT at 8:45 am on May 17. I'm sure everyone's pixie dust and well wishes did the trick! lol.... Good luck to those who wish future reservations!

I think I read somewhere that if you have PS before the park opens It is the best time to take pictures of the castle and anything else as there are not many people at this time. Just a thought

Very true!! We had a PS for 8:05 last summer on a non EMH morning and I was able to get a pic of DD in front of the castle with no one else in the picture!! It's her favorite picture and she talks about us "hoofing it" down Mainstreet.
