Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

Your CC was not charged? I was under the impression that the CC was charged and then you are issued a credit. I am trying to budget the next trip, and we want to add this meal. We are going to use the DP, but may also pay OOP for this meal.
Hi! I just called Disney dining yesterday with the same question. I have to call and make my adrs this week. She advised me that they can charge the meal to my credit card at the time I make my adr, if I choose not to use the dining plan credits. I want to keep my credits to use at other restaurants. The only problem is, there are too many places I want to try this trip! How do you all keep from going crazy?

I won't say that I did not go crazy, but I did make my family nuts. I was graceful, :goodvibes when they thanked me for all of the planning.

Hello!
We made reservations for CRT for lunch in July. Since booking the ADR there, we have added the dining plan to our vacation package. Should I call back Dis Dine and tell them that I am now on the dining plan? :confused3
Thanks!

So is it like at Xmas with Santa - ie an organized line set up shot ?

Does anyone have one they could post so my DW can see how she should dress DD(5)?

And lastly - are many of the kids in princess costumes?

Thanks in advance

I don't know how the format is now, as it changed after our january visit.
As to the costumes, I did see a lot of little girls dressed in their Princess finery. My DGD went as Cinderella, and if you want, you can take the kids to the MK barbershop for a hairdo and pixiedust, it adds to the magic if you have some time.

We just wore our park clothes, it was lunch.

Hello all you Disney Dining Experts,
We are thinking of making a last minute trip in May - promised our two-year-old if she'd start going potty on the toilet and wearing her "big girl" undies all day we'd plan a trip - needless to say, that's all it took. So...she wants to eat breakfast with Cinderella...BADLY. I have tried for reservation, no luck-no surprise. How likely are walk-ins? Would we need to make a reservation for breakfast somewhere else and then see? What would happen to the reservation at the other restaurant (probably Crystal Palace)?

If this doesn't work out, what is your experience with the Princess Storybook Dinner in Epcot. I know Cinderella isn't in the advertised line-up, but does she ever show up? Also, what are people's thoughts on the 1900 Park Fare dinner with Cinderella?

Oh how I regret saying that she MIGHT be able to have breakfast with Cinderella in the Castle. A two-year-old doesn't hear the MIGHT. :guilty:

Hi! I would start checking for availability 48 hours prior to when you want to go. I guess a lot of people cancel because it can still be refunded up to 48 hours prior. This is the way the policy use to be. I think it might still be the same, if someone could verify this it would be great. I told my friend who was going about this and she was able to get Crt. She was so excited!
I've also heard that Cindy has been showing up at Akershus every now and then, but is not guaranteed. That's a problem when you don't want to disappoint your little princess. I would probably book Park Fare, just to be on the safe side. The food sounds wonderful. We're going to try it on our upcoming trip! Good Luck! princess:

Thanks to all of the help of this thread! I just got my CRT ADR first thing this morning (4-2-06)!! I wasn't difficult at all. I am still in shock!

Me too, me too!!! My daughter is going to be in heaven. At first when I called the person I spoke with told me I could only book for my arrival date and would have to call back to book at 180 days out for the day I wanted to eat there. I posted on here about it and the above poster informed me that she just got an ADR for 10/1, 182 days out! So, thanks to her I called back, no being on hold, I got right through! The person had me a nervous wreck when she told me it looked as if it was all booked! Then she checked for 10/5 and we're in!!!!!! WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!! My daughter is SOOO excited!!! (and so am I!)

Shelby

I'm so excited.. I thought we weren't going to be able to get CRT - we were just over 180 days (184 maybe?) but we got it! The first few days of our trip were booked solid, but the CM said there was one slot left for Oct.5th, so I said "we'll take it!!" Yay! (See ya there, Shelby! ;) )
I don't have any of our other ADRs booked yet, but at least I got that one :)

What time will you be there?!?!?!?!?!

Shelby

Right around 10:00.. a little later than we wanted, but I'm not going to complain :teeth:
What about you?

Bummer! We'll already be gone. Ours is at 8:20am! I'm so excited though!!! My daughter has been telling anyone and everyone all day! :teeth:

Shelby

Lucky! I would have loved 8:20!
Oh well :) It will be great anyway!

I called this morning at 7am (I'm a travel agent) and Cindy's breakfast and lunches were booked for the week already??? My clients are going to be so disappointed!!

I'm not surprised, when I called yesterday it was booked up through Thursday 10/5. I don't know if Friday was booked by then or not but it seemed like everything had filled up rather quickly!

Shelby

Just booked breakfast for Easter Sunday. $100+ for three of us. My 10 year old daughter should think it is quite the treat. I hope it is worth it.

Hi! We are going the week of 9/30- 10/7 and we tried to call yesterday (180 days before 9/30) and we were told that they do not release the tables for the entire week for Cindy's Royal Table and the Norway one. So she was very helpful (2nd girl we spoke to) and she told us we would have to call back every day until we got a spot...so, we could call today for 10/1, tomorrow for 10/2 etc.

So we called this morning at 7am and got a 9am reservation!! No problems.

The first lady we talked to told us that they were booked all week...but the second lady told us that because they don't release the tables until exactly 180 days, that the other days of that week were still blocked out and looked like they were full, even though they hadn't been opened to the public yet.

So for anyone going the week of the 9/30-10/7...keep calling every morning at 7am and you'll get a spot!!!

Wow! I was prepared with backups and ready to be disappointed, but there were slots open for all meals (B, L, or D) for all of our days in August! Never expected that! :yay:
