Hi! We are going the week of 9/30- 10/7 and we tried to call yesterday (180 days before 9/30) and we were told that they do not release the tables for the entire week for Cindy's Royal Table and the Norway one. So she was very helpful (2nd girl we spoke to) and she told us we would have to call back every day until we got a spot...so, we could call today for 10/1, tomorrow for 10/2 etc.

So we called this morning at 7am and got a 9am reservation!! No problems.

The first lady we talked to told us that they were booked all week...but the second lady told us that because they don't release the tables until exactly 180 days, that the other days of that week were still blocked out and looked like they were full, even though they hadn't been opened to the public yet.

So for anyone going the week of the 9/30-10/7...keep calling every morning at 7am and you'll get a spot!!!

That's so odd!! We are going at the exact same time and I called Monday and got a CRT Reservation for Saturday the 7th on Monday. She let me book the 10 days out from our 180th day. They wouldn't let me book Raglan Rd. though.

I also Got Akershus for later in the week...so I think that CM gave you bad info.

I had to call back to change another reservation and asked, just for the heck of it and Lo and Behold! I got Breakfast in Cinderella's Castle at 9am on Oct. 1!! My clients are going to be thrilled!! So am I!!!

Reading this makes me nervous!! LOL!! We'll be able to call next month and I am desperately hoping we get in.

How is the food at lunch? We did breakfast last time and the experience was worth the money but the food was yuck.

Hi! I just called Disney dining yesterday with the same question. I have to call and make my adrs this week. She advised me that they can charge the meal to my credit card at the time I make my adr, if I choose not to use the dining plan credits. I want to keep my credits to use at other restaurants. The only problem is, there are too many places I want to try this trip! How do you all keep from going crazy?

I called on Monday and made reservations for my DH and I for 9/25 for breakfast. When I made the reservation, I told her I was on the Dining Plan and so she did not charge my credit card, although she did take down the number (in case of no show).

After thinking about it, we decided that it would make more sense to pay this meal out of pocket and save the 4 credits. Should I call back and have them charge my card now or can I just let them know when we get there?

Hi BklynGirl! I called on Monday too and make my ADR for 10/1. She asked if I was on the dining plan, I said yes but I wanted to pay this now and save my tbl service credits. She said no problem and charged my credit card the full amount. She also informed me that they could also take my credit card for a guarantee and charge it the day of the breakfast. I'd rather charge it now. One less thing to think about! ;)

I thought that the food was good. I had the major domo pie, DD and DH had the pork, and some 2 of us had the focaccia sandwich. Dessert was some blueberry thing, and it was good. They all liked it. I do not know if the menu has changed since January.

Y'know, I easily got a 12:30 lunch slot on 8/31... (everything was open) but in reading through everything, now I'm not sure this is really worth 2 TS credits so I think I'm going to cancel. I've got the 1900 Park Fare dinner booked the night before instead for only 1 TS credit. How do you think that compares? My DD4 will be thrilled to see Cinderella anywhere and we'll still visit the castle. Just not sure anymore that it's worth blowing 2 TS on!

Okay I have reserved dinner with Cinderella but have now heard that the characters do not interact much with the kids. Is this true? Is breakfast or lunch a better option? I have been calling daily to see if there has been a cancelation for lunch or breakfast and so far there have not been any.
Can anyone give me some insite on how the dinner works and if I should continue to try to switch for lunch or breakfast.

Oh and I also got a reservation for the Storybook Princess lunch at Epcot.. that one is going to be a surprise for my 5yr old little princess..

Unless things have changed, I didn't think there were characters at dinner. Breakfast and lunch only has the characters I believe!

you still get to see Cinderella in the lobby for your Photo. I don't know if the other princesses are there but I don't think so.

Question... We're going in October, and I'm making our ADR's next week. We're on the DP, but I don't want to use up 2 TS credits. Can I tell CM that I'm on the DP, so they won't actually charge my CC, and just pay OOP? Has anyone done this successfully?

That's what we're doing too. When I booked on Monday, I just told the CM we didn't want it to count towards our DP and she took my credit card # and said no problem. So I assume it won't be an issue!

What is the Princess Storybook lunch? Is that the same thing as lunch at Akershus in Epcot? If not, please dish! We have ADR's for Akershus dinner with princesses, but this sounds interesting too!

Thanks!!

Yes, they are one and the same. Akershus is princesses at all three meals now and most people call the experience "Princess Storybook" or PSB.

Ok, maybe I am in the minority, but I do not think that the new price for the breakfast is worth it at all. We have gone at least 5 other times, and the new "celebration" that they do with the waving the wands, swords, pins and the picture does not make it worth it at all. If you have never done the princess breakfast for your little princess, then by all means do it. If you have done it before, you can skip it with no problem at all. Just my opinion.

Okay, what's up...I called to get the BC with free dining and the CM asked if I wanted to make any ADRs. I thought I couldn't call until the end of May to make ressies for CRT - she said no, that I could make them now. I had my PICK of breakfast times for a Sunday morning!!!!! :woohoo: My DD (age 3) is thrilled - but she keeps asking if the evil stepmother will be there :rolleyes2 .
