Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

Yes the survey is still there. But it is 1-2-1 and the last # is 1 if been to disney more then 4 times 2 for less. What type of info to give them? What do you mean? You tell them what you want day, time how many in your party and the they ask you for your Hotel, Name, address, phone, kids and ages, CC infoand then they give you confirmation # and its over. I got in pretty easy today I waited on hold about 10 seconds.

Man, reading all these posts is sure making me nervous about calling, and I don't have to call until September! Ugh! I've heard from several people that they enjoyed the Princess meal at Epcot better. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

It will be fine! Just do a test run before your morning so you'll know if the introduction has changed.

Man now I have to start trying in about 2 weeks! Let's hope I can get it for my b-day! If not I'll do CP either way I'll be happy! princess:

Can't wait to be princess: for a couple days!

Does anyone need a P/S for May 9th. I have one for two tables of 6 at 8:15 AM which I'm going to cancel. Please PM me or leave a post if your interested.

Just start the dialing process as documented on the boards and be in the groove. I was more sucessful this time around than 3 years ago.

The operators know all about the rush for Cindy's. I actually called one morning to book the Pirate Cruise and joked about not calling for Cindy's.She was laughing for the entire call about how different it felt to be booking something other than Cindy's right off the bat.

I called this morning around 7:30 to make a reservation for July 28th. The CRO told me that they were only taking PS for July 27th. I asked about reservations and there was still opening for 8:10 and 10:10.

Keep trying. This will be our first breakfast at the castle, but we ate lunch on our last visit. Lunch menu was delicious and view beautiful.

Keep trying. For us, it seems that early to mid week is the best time for reservations.

Does anyone need a P/S for next sunday 5/9 at 8:15 AM I have two tables of six reserved and I will not be using them please post if your interested.

By some strange quirk of fate, our group of 20 has 37 EXTRA PS's for Cindy's Breakfast on the morning of Saturday, July 31st! (All 5 of us trying for ressies for our families got through and asked for extras in case some of our other families didn't get them.) I will be releasing these ressies tomorrow, so I wondered if anyone here needed them. I'd be happy to coordinate releasing them at a certain time so you could call right away to get them. Hope this will help someone on the Boards!

YAAAAAAY! We got our PS for CRT this morning!!! Started dialing at 6:58am EST, and got in just under 7:00am. Followed the instructions listed here for the survey, 1-2-1-2, and got right in, waited about 10 seconds on hold, and got the 8:05 we wanted!

Thanks to everyone who posted the helpful hints, they were a tremendous help ::yes::

My DS and DD are so excited:bounce:

Thanks again!!!

Yes!...If it wasn't for the helpful hints, I don't think I would have got my ressie's either!..Thanks Dis Family!!

I will be releasing PS reservations for the Royal Breakfast for Sunday July 11 at 9:35 am, 4 adults and 2 children. If anyone would like this time slot, I can coordinate with you when to let them go, so that you can have first chance at them.

I still have 34 extra-by mistake PS's for July 31 at Cindy's ... today is the last chance because it's not fair for us to hold them... anybody want to coordinate a release time? Feel free to PM me.

BUMP - was able to release some reservations that another DIS'er then called in and got! Her first time at Cindy's... HOORAY!

I am really, truly releasing the last 24 today. Anyone need them? PM me please. I love helping fellow DIS'ers!:earsgirl:

In the beginning of this thread there is a link called "tips" that links to tips on getting a reservation at the castle. My dinosaur of a computer for some reason locks up on some links and that is one of them. I can copy and paste into the web browser, can some one please type out the link and i'll get to the tips that way! I really need them!

Thank you,
Cindy Z in CT

(going to Disney 8/04; staying at the POP and hoping to have ressies at Cindy's Castle, Liberty Tree Tavern, Ice Cream Socail and Chef Mickey's!)

See if that works for you:)

Hey! We are going from 7/31 to 8/8!!!

We got Cindy's I think fairly easy!!! Maybe because this time of year isnt as busy as others, like April????

My parents are going as well, and we both were successful in booking Cindys the other day for 8/3, didnt wait long on hold, and got the times we wanted......

The tips really help....

If you still cant get that link to work, post here again, or leave your email, I will cut and paste the whole paragraph for you!

I was supposed to call for my group of five. I tried to call anyway to see if I might get lucky and I did on the first try. I am in for July 31st at 9:10 am. I know that the food isn't so great and the price is steep, but we have three girls ages 14 months, 9 years, and 16 years and none have met the princesses before in dining so I think it will be worth it.

The link didn't work, i'm sure it's MY computers fault!! If you could paste the paragraph and send to me i'd be in your debt. Can you send it in a personal message through the board? Thanx again!

Cindy, I copied and pasted the following from the first page, I didnt know how to send a PM, this is the extent of my computer capabilities...LOL Hope this helps you!

After reading a bunch of threads and getting some helpful (but occasionally conflicting) advice, I finally got my PS for Cindy's. I wanted to share my strategy with others who are torn about using outside help to get PS. Here is what I would recommend:

1) Determine the date that you can make your Cindy's reservation. Go to the DIS Priority Seating calculator and verify the earliest calling date for the dates that you can attend (60 days prior). Realize that there is a VERY good chance that you will be unsuccessful if you only try once. So plan on getting a PS for early in your trip and if you get it, GREAT. If you don't, you can still try the next morning.

2) You should only make reservations using the (407) 939-3463 number. The (800) numbers used for Disney Club and other services have delays (as much as 12 seconds) that will seriously hinder your ability to get a Cindy's PS.

3) Syncronize your clock. Go to the official U.S. time clock for great results. I have DSL at home, so I leave the official U.S. clock up on my screen while calling.

4) Begin calling at about 6:58 Eastern time. There are two possible greetings:
a) Thank you for calling the Disney Reservation Center. Our office is closed... (hang up immediately as soon as you hear the words "Our office" and hit redial immediately).
or
b) Thank you for calling the Disney reservation center (pause). You're in and on hold! Wait! Do NOT hang up or you will lose any chance of a ressie!

Please note that as of April 4, 2002, there is no option to hit "1" as previously described in some threads. The only responses are in a) and b) above. Simply wait to here whether the recording says, "Our office is closed."

Plan on calling 10-15 times during this two minute period. The range seems to be picking up between 7:58:30 and 7:59:30.

5) Upon speaking to a "live person", interrupt the CRO rep and blurt out "I need Cindy's, for June xx, for x people, any available time". The CRO rep will understand your temporary rudeness, and you'll make up for it later with endless amounts of gratitude... Don't try and pick a specific time. Any delays will seriously hinder your ability to get a PS.

6) Be sure to write down your time and PS #. If your PS is before the park opening, you'll have to present your PS# to get into the park.

Have any editorial suggestion? Please share!

Good luck to you all!
