Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

If you get a 7am ps do the busses run that early or do you have to drive yourself?

The earliest for CRT is 8:05.

Chef Mickey starts at 7:00 and we stayed at AKL just last week and we were at Chef Mickey at 6:50. We walked down to the bus stop and there was a bus waiting at 6:30 and they took us directly to the resort. So you can make an 8:00 at MK.

I am soooo excited!!! I called this morning and got reservations!!! I want to thank everyone for their help. If it were not for everyone here I do not think I would have gotten them. A big hug to everyone who posted tips!!!!!!!!!

I think the Castle meals are dropping in popularity-- the princesses that were once there are now at the Norway castle. Only Cinderella and the "royal family" remain at the Magic Kingdom.

All the princesses were there when we were there just a few days ago. There were 5 princesses. However, now that Cindy is at the Norway lunch, I'm sure that it helps out and there is now also the lunch at the Castle.

We did 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and Cindy replaced the Mad Hatter too. She isn't normally there all the time for breakfast. We also ate dinner in the Castle and she was there greeting people too in the lobby.

Just wanted to post my good luck. I woke up late on Sunday morning, which was the day I was supposed to be up at 5:57 to get through to Disney Dining. Well, I got up at 8, and was heartbroken. I gave it a shot anyway. I called, got a CM, and told her I knew I was too late, but I had to try anyway since it would be my dd's 7th birthday. I asked her for a table of 7...she said, "How's 8:15?" :earseek: :earseek: :earseek:

Woohoo!!! I was hoping to get in before the park opened. Maybe it was because it was a Sunday and everyone was sleeping, but I sure expected it to be harder than that!

Thanks for all the information, everyone.

Ok I need some pixie dust thrown my way.
Come sunday I have a early date with my phone to get a early breakfast in the castle. This will be my first time trying to get a ps there. I have been lucky in the past to just walk up and get in..(LOTS OF PIXIE DUST SOMETIMES HELPS) So send all the pixie dust my way!!

We will be there Sept 21-28. I called 60 days out everyday for the whole week. I got the Cindy's ressies on the last day. When I called for Storybook Princes I call right after they put it into effect. I think it was the end of July. They were almost book. I think CRO must be telling people to book it when thy can't get Cindy's. The only bad thing is we go to Cindy's on Thurs and Storybook on Fri. I was hoping to spred them out a little. But I have a 4 and a 6 year old who think they are princess so they won't care. They are turning 5 and 7 on our trip so we are celebrating the whole week we are there. Good luck. I watch a few other boards if I see anything I will post here again

Hi everyone. I just called and booked the CRT BREAKFAST for our Sept. trip to WDW! Woo hoo!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: I got through easily and was able to pick my time. Crazy. (Today is my 90 day point) Last time we tried this I called for weeks before I got a ressie.

Anyway, I asked the CM about the CRT Lunch. She said that it was gaining popularity but that it's not as quick to book as the breakfast. She told me that the lunch typically takes a week or more to book up.

It seems to me that it is going to be much easier to get these reservations from now on, do you agree?

Somehow, I don't feel as excited to get these reservations as I did the last time...it was much more satisfying when they were harder to get. Am I crazy?? What do you think?

Happy day! :flower: :flower: :flower: :flower: :flower: :flower:

:cool1: :cool1: We tried calling at 7:00 for PS for CRT, lines were busy, then we got a message saying if you're calling for CRT it's most likely sold out. My DH tried again at 8:00 to make a PS for Chef Mickey's, he asked if there way anything available for CRT, and we got a 9:40 reservation for 9/24!! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Woke up today at 6:45 started calling at 6:58 was told twice that they were closed. Called second time put on hold on both phones I was using.
I was told at 7:12 that if I was hold this long that the CRT might be sold out. I was not giving up, I holded and at 7:20 I got a PS for 8:15 pm :cool1: see ya soon princess:
RIDisneyFan we will be there on 9/24 ALSO

I got my PS for Sept 24 at 8:20. My TA also got one for me for 9:35 that I will have her cancel tomorrow if anyone needs it. Also its for 4.

I just got our PS for 9/25 for my dd's 2nd Birthday celebration!! I got right through, and got to pick our time. Chose 9:05 am........see you there!

Congratulations to everyone. I called this morning to make a reservation for Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900 Park Fare and got exactly the time I wanted. Just to share...

Last week my sister and I were out and about and met a friend of hers. The lady was very excited because they are planning their first Disney trip for late July. I asked if she was planning any character breakfasts. She then told me that she was planning a special Bday breakfast for her DD at the Castle to eat with the princesses. I innocently asked if she had a hard time getting reservations and she looked dumbfounded. SHE HASN'T MADE ANY PS FOR CRT!! I didn't want to burst her bubble, but kindly suggested that she call the Dining number to make advanced reservations. I felt so sorry that she wasn't aware that CRT is booked 90 days out by 7:05 in the morning. I am so thankful that I found these boards!

I got CRT for 9/25 @ 10:00 a.m. I was making the reservation for 4 and she asked the ages of the children. As I was saying 5 and 8, it suddenly hit me that I am due with baby #3 this week and I would need a table for 5. Boy that's going to take some getting used to saying.

Looks like a lot of us will be eating at the castle on the same day and time!
:cool1:

Congrats to all those to make it to the breakfast! I started calling at 6:55, but according to my time and the time on the Today Show it was 6:58 going onto 6:59 when I got through. I was using my cell and lost the call! I think I'm going to stick with my land line from now on! I was booking for dinner at :cool1: 1900 Park Faire and I was happy to get the time I wanted 5:00 p.m. In a few days I'm going to try for the Princess lunch and am hoping for the best. Good luck to all those who are trying!
