If we are lucky in getting priority seating for the Cinderella's Royal Table breakfast (believe me, I've read all the tricks on trying to arrange this), do we have to use a park pass for that day? We are staying off-site for two weeks this summer and would like to go to the breakfast on a day we didn't plan to visit one of the WDW parks. Is that possible?

Yes, you do need a park pass for Cinderella's Royal Breakfast. When you make the reservations, they'll tell you that.

Thanks for your quick response. That will definitely help in our planning.
You're very welcome. BTW -- CONGRATS ON YOUR FIRST DIS POST! Don't be a stranger! ;)

Correct you need one for Cinderella's Breakfast (CRT), but there are other character meals at the different resorts that you could go to for breakfast or dinner that would not require use of a park ticket. Off the top of my head:

Chef Mickeys (B & D)
Dinner with Cinderella & Friends - 1900 Park Fare (D)
O'Hana's (B)
There's a few others...

Hope that helps with your planning!

Another character meal that would not require a park ticket is the buffet at the Cape May. The restaurant is located in the Beach Club Resort.
