Saturday, December 17 -Day 9
I really hate this part in a trip. You know, when you hit the point where you are closer to the end of the trip than the start? Still we have a lot of fun left to have and by God we are GOING to have some fun.
We will start this day off at our resort and will have a quick bite to eat at Roaring Fork. I assume by this day we might be starting to be a bit full so while Steve and Alex each use a full dp cs credit, Zoe and I will just share one.
We won't want to rush, but we also will want to get going since we have places to be.
The day will be day number 2 for
The park opens at 9am and we will need to be there so that right away we can go get fast passes for
Now, this ride will be for only Zoe and Alex. The old people in the group get a bit sick when we ride these things.
Next three of us will go on another ride.
Steve will not be riding as anything that goes in a circle in any way shape or form makes him violently ill.
The next ride we rarely if ever go on it. There is usually a horrendous line and even when using ridemax it has always given us a 30 or so minute wait. Zoe seems to really like this ride and was very excited to go on it last September. So imagine my excitement to see ridemax gave me a wait til of only 8 minutes.

for
Next up is something that in previous to the 9/2010 trip we did not go on in WDW. Why? Well, we thought it was different. In DL, it is more like Innoventions. Well, the floor rotates you see a show with a robot (can't remember his name) and then when the floor stops you are released to "play" in Innoventions. It was always a challenge to keep the older three kids (who were all obviously younger then) together when they all wanted to run in different directions. Oh, and did I mention the building had multiple floors? Yeah, so imagine that we pretty much swore off that ride of thinking it would be another stressful attraction for us. Well, imagine how surprised I was when I went on it in 9/2010.
Next we will be getting some fast passes so we can try and save a galaxy...or something
I look forward to our next ride. I just don't know when I got so old that this is something I get excited about rather than a big rollercoaster.
Now here is another tricky moment for me. Alex and Zoe will want to ride SM. We will have acquired a couple fast passes for them. Yet, I feel a bit

at the thought of sending the two of them off to go on this ride. I did just mention I am getting old, right? Hmm.. maybe it is due to that? In any case, if I am brave and allow my two to go off on this ride, Steve and I will go and pick up some snacks. I am not 100% sure what everyone will want. If it is warm outside at all I might want a smoothie, while Alex is sure to want a pretzel. We wont go far and when they get off the ride we will have their snacks ready for them. (again...assuming I can handle letting them go)
After we chug or gobble down our snacks, we will be going to see
On our spring 2010 trip, Zoe was picked as "Boo" It was fun to have her be on the screen. What wasn't fun was that I too was on the screen since she was on my lap
After the show we will get to use our fast passes on Buzz Lightyear.
Then we are going to leave the park and head over to the GF. Our plan while there is to see the decorations like
and
We also intend to try a new-to-us cs restaurant.
I never hear anything about this place, but the menu looked quite interesting and since we wanted to tour GF it looked like a good place to use a cs credit.
After we are done with our lunch, we will head over and grab some fast passes for one of my only "thrill" rides that I do like. I know... hold on to your seats cause this is a scary one.
Now here is where I had to do some tinkering with ridemax. If I added in spash mountain, it had us going between frontierland and tommorowland all day. Yet leaving it out gives us this nice break. Also, not knowing if it would be warm enough for Splash Mountain, I didn't know if I wanted to force it into the plan.
So at this point we have free time about 2 hours. I figure even if the line is long (and I mean really long) we would still have time to go on this should the weather permit.
Course, this is a ride that drops so no go for me...well, sometimes I can go. It kinda depends on how brave I am that day.
If weather is not good then we may just head back to the hotel. Given what is planned for the rest of the day though, I am not sure this is our best option.
No matter what we do, our next attraction will be
The itinerary gives us 45 minutes to play, but I know the guys won't be all that into it...and Steve hates the underground tunnels (he get a migraine when we go down there

)
Next up will be
I can't wait to see this without a sleeping 5 year old draped over me. She was SO heavy last trip and I had to carry her since the stroller had to remain outside.
Finally we will use our fast passes for my favorite thrill ride before yet again leaving the park and hoping over to a near by resort.
Where are we eating this evening?
I
think this is a picture of it. Again, this is a new-to-us restaurant...
Dinner is rather early (6pm) yet despite this we have no further plans for the day. The park is open until 10pm, but we will most likely go back to the hotel. Well, everyone but Alex. I am sure he will want to venture out on his own this evening. So now you can see why I am not anxious to just head back to the resort in the mid afternoon.
This day we will use 4 snack credits (leaving 20), 7 quick service credits (leaving 17) and 4 table service credits (leaving 20)
Ridemax gives us a total wait time of 81 minutes with 57 minutes of walking between rides for the day.
