i've had the pleasure this week to work with the gideon's for their annual convention. it is neat to see a group of business so dedicated to god and concerned about what kind of witness they are to the people they come in contact with. they have had some awesome testimonies from those that had their life changed by a gideon bible in a hotel room, or given to them at school, as well as some great preaching and music at the meetings. wrap-up is tomorrow, this has been great on a spiritual as well as financial level. it is great when those two can come together so perfectly.

Jeanne, I can't sing either but I do sing to my dog, she seems to like it, of course she may be going deaf so that might be why...

Sarah, I don't think The Kry has put out anything recently, I could be wrong about that though. They are a French Canadian group that I don't think ever made it too big but the people that do love them LOVE them! In the mid 90's they played them a lot on our local stations but as with all good music that came to an end. The songs I posted were all from the cd titled YOU.

Phil, I just love hearing about how awesome the results of your church's VBS was! That's an amazing amount of money raised for missions! Praise God for all the decisions made for Christ too! That's really neat that you got to work with the Gideons.

Guys, I want to praise Jesus tonight. I am praising through tears, however.

I have been asking the Lord "Why?" so much lately. I know He puts up with it. I know He doesn't mind. I guess I mind...I don't want to ask so much...I want to trust and to praise in all circumstances.

I have a prayer request. You all know my niece, Jess. She is doing O.K....still struggling with the eating disorder, but doing what she needs to do in going to church, doctor, counseling...etc. Jess is my brother's duaghter and she is one of seven kids. Her younger sister is 16, a strong Christian and just the happiest kid you would ever want to meet. She came home from a missions trip to Guatamala just last week. Her name is ~Erin~. Please pray for Erin. She has had problems with her ears since she was five...infections, surgeries, tubes. Erin has just been diagnosed with permanant deafness in her right ear and she has only 30% hearing in her left. My brother and my SIL are needing prayers too...that they would hold on to Jesus. I know I have asked for a lot of prayers recently. I know that it might seem like I am just a bad news bearer and that you guys probably have so much going on too. I pray for you guys and I want you'all to let us know when your heart cries so I can pray for you. Thanks so much for your prayers guys.
