This song is just so amazing, and the first time I heard it was at my Youth group on a Wedsday night. I just love the lyrics because their so true. Chris Tomlin is so good. He's usually where I turn to when I feel the need for more calm, mellow music. We're big Toby Mac fans here in my house, but DH LOVES the hip hop artists that have come about. Cross Movement, Manafest, KJ-52, John Reuben, etc.

I grew up with the likes of Smitty and Stephen Curtis Chapman, and I am SOOOOOOOOO excited about the upcoming tour together. SCC and his family have been heavy on my heart since they lost their daughter at the end of May, and I still can't hear Cinderella without crying just yet, but my daughter adores that CD so I endure it on a regular basis.

For those of you with kids who like secular stuff, but you'd like to give them a better message---you should check out Apologetix music. Think of them as the Weird Al of christian music. They parody just about everything from the Beatles and Beach Boys to Eminem and they have very biblically sound lyrics, not to mention they sound great. You can get free downloads from their website from time to time as well. My kids love them.
