Choosing the best Studio for 5.

We previously stayed At BCV several times before buying in at PVB. I couldn’t believe how much larger the studios were there ! The balconies were also much larger. The added shower and sink in the 2nd bathroom was a bonus. And the connecting room feature (we had Connecting studios with my parents) was awesome. We loved the studios at Poly and are so glad to own there.

I like the boardwalk and beach club resorts as well, but when doing the math, the poly and grand are cheaper per night, unless I am doing the math wrong haha. We are usually at the magic kingdom the most anyways so that may workout well. BUT I would like to be able to stay at the other places, I hope its not impossible at 7 months.

I wouldn't worry too much about the price. Its a luxury purchase, and the amount you spend to stay where you want to stay vs staying at a second or third choice because it will be cheaper will be overwhelmed with the other costs - park tickets (especially since you turn around and toddlers are "Disney adults" for ticketing purposes), dining, etc. Make a long term decision based of where you will be happy, looking at the composition of your family not just now (or if another child arrives) but over the long term - i.e. traveling with teenagers. You may not spend all your time at the MK once your kids are older. And plan on it being nearly impossible to book at one of the Epcot resorts - especially in a studio - at seven months. They are in high demand and there are a lot of owners who bought because they want to stay at BWV or BCV.

I would say Poly because of the second shower, which is a big part of the reason we bought, in addition to the contract length. I believe Poly is the best "value" when considering dollars per point per year of any of the resorts. I bought 100 and am looking to add 50 more to my Poly contract.

BWV owners here over 20 years....awesome location....grand kids were small all 5 under 10yrs old....now they all still want to go to Disney World..and the new granddaughter in law is also on board...if you can book early you can take advantage of getting a SV..standard view and low points..All 12 of us will be there in Feb 2021......Location,location,location....

No argument to BWV here. My parents own there since 2000 and I have stayed there about 10 times. It is an awesome resort and the location truly is amazing. For new buyers, the 2042 contract expiration is polarizing. For my family, we wanted to be able to use our DVC for the remainder of my WDW visiting days (My Poly contract expires when I'm 84!), but some people may not want that time commitment. As a resort though, BWV has many advantages, namely the point chart, and getting into a SV studio is very difficult at 7 months. That said, I still feel even the pool view BWV rooms are worth the slightly higher points per night (14 for a SV in summer, 18 for BW/P view during the week). You can't really go wrong, I love all these resorts!
