Childfree Disney fans?

My wife and I are childfree.. Although we are still kinda children (Im 28, she is 26)...

hope to have children soon.

We love Disney like crazy and love going there together..

I guess you would say we are kid free youngest is doing an internship at magic kingdom which is so cool. We will be going in June without any kids or grankids which I cant wait. I think it will be so cool! :cool1: :earsboy:

Child free and love it. We are going for our second time(first since getting married) We want to get in a few trips before kids. I think disney is a whole different world without kids.

No kids here, yet.

DW and I have been 4 times to WDW by ourselves since we met.

DH and I are 32 and blissfully childfree! We refer to ourselves as THiNKers (two healthy incomes, no kids). I've known since I can remember that I didn't want kids. We have taken two of our nephews to WDW to introduce them properly to the experience - LOL! As long as we can give them back at the end of the day, they're fine. I just don't want any living in my house for 18 years (or more). We do have cats and fish and donate time and money to several animal charities.

And for those of you who defined the term childfree, thank you. There IS a difference. Nobody is worse or better, but there is a difference in mindset. For the others who were confused by the "empowering" comment, just think if one of your major life decisions were questioned on a daily basis and how it would make you feel. Think about going to get a tubal at 25 and being told you're "too young to make that decision" - yet if you'd been five years younger and pregnant the same doctor would never even question it.

For the rest who are worried they'll be judged as "selfish", I would heartily disagree. It's far MORE selfish for thousands of people to bring kids into the world without spending as much time and effort deciding to than they did on choosing their car or their home, or even the clothes they are wearing. I applaud those who are true parents, who took the choice to have children seriously and are good, responsible parents. I also applaud those (DH and I among them) that took the choice seriously and decided, for WHATEVER reason, that it just wasn't for them. I'd much rather regret NOT having kids than regret having them.
:cheer2: BRILLIANT!!! I could not have put it better myself!

I'm 21! No Kids, just me and my boyfriend and our five ferrets (what was I thinking?) heehee :bounce:

No kids here! Just my husband and me! WDW is my favorite vacation destination and my husband is learning to love it too!

DVCTiff I am with you too!!!!

Just my DH and DD (no not Dear Daughter - Dear DOG!!!)

I have no plans to have kids but do not fault anyone who committed to have that particular blessing in their life.

We are childfree and loving it!!! :cool1:

I'm gloriously and permanently childfree - I had my tubes tied when I was 24. I am the Queen of Spayeds!

Of course, I'm also deeply ingrained in the ways of the Mouse, and I can't wait to go to WDW or Disneyland again.

I had 7 ferrets at one point, so 5 is relatively easy compared to that! :flower:

DH and I are child free~our May 2006 trip to WDW will likely be our last as a child free couple. We are planning to start trying to begin our family next summer. :cloud9:
We love Disney and going to WDW-went there for our first vacation together, got engaged there, and honeymooned there. We love it!! :cheer2:

Child free - three dogs, one cat (very, very spoiled pets). We honeymooned in Disney nine years ago, and this year will be our fourth trip together to WDW. :earboy2:

I'm 36 and hubby is 39. We don't have children, nor do we plan to have children. We LOVE to travel, and discovered our passion for WDW in May 2002. Neither of us had been as kids, and we were amazed by how relaxing and enjoyable this particular vacation was for us. Of course, it helped that we were staying at AKL and had a package with wishes. We took full advantage of using our wishes at nice restaurants for dinner, and we used some for massages too. I knew we were somewhere special when my husband was "truly relaxed." Needless to say, we've been back a crazy number of times since, and we are the proud owners of DVC BCV, HH, and SSR points!

Wow, Trampslady! :scared1: I must say that it was a bit frightening to read your post! I am 36 and my husband is 39. We have no "human" children (by choice), and never will. :cat: We live to travel. Our first trip to WDW was in May 2002. We bought into DVC in 2002, and have added on three times, which makes us proud owners at HHI, BCV, and SSR. We go to WDW at least twice per year, because it is the only place for us where reality doesn't intrude.

Too bad you guys don't live in Michigan!!! :cold:

Daisy2, what a great time to go--during the Food and Wine Fest! DH and I plan to go for at least 2 long weekends (4 days, 3 nights) during the Food and Wine Festival, but we haven't decided on dates/resorts yet.

Have a wonderful time!

Add another kid free couple, unless you count our doggie (which we at times will!) We've been to Disney a few different times with my DH's parents and last time we went with both sets of parents. I couldn't even imagine bringing a child under 10 to Disney - I'm way to crazy once I get there.

DH & I are another couple with only "furry" children--2 cats & 2 dogs (which we count as children!). We have been on 4 trips to WDW together, and plan to do many, many more. People often ask why we go if we don't have kids. DH & I are one of those couples who love to laugh, relax, and just go places and have a good time! What better place than Disney to do that! ::MinnieMo

We're child-free and Disney lovers, too, grew up near Disneyland and now living about an hour from Disney World. We have 3 attention-craving but adorable Asian Burmese cats who make us pay after every day trip to Disney. :)
