Child ride swap?

We're taking our first big trip with the grown kids and grandkids this summer. DH and I love ROR and want the 'kids' to experience it. Is it possible for the 4 'kids' to ride while DH and I are on line/waiting with the 4 toddlers, and then for us to hand the toddlers back to their parents so that we can ride? We're planning on early entry with no genie+ or LL.

Yes, its called "rider swap" we do it all the time. You could even have just one adult stay off with the kids, and then the person who stayed off will be able to take one rider along with them for a second ride. This has worked out great for our 4 year old son (who is tall) and gets to do all the big rides twice in a row. The rider "swapping" will use the LL line.

My wife and I just did this. it worked very easily. We went to the lightning lane entrance as a group and the cast member scanned mine and my wife's band. We then waited till our kids got off the ride and then we went to the lighting lane.

** you need to let the cast member with the ipad at the start of the line know you are doing this as your family gets on line. They will scan your magic band/card/MDE app to set it up for you.
