Chicken nuggets / strips, soft or hard?

Are the chicken nuggets and strips at Disney soft or hard? My son won't eat them if the crust is too thick or hard. (He doesn't like McDonalds or Sonic nuggets.)

My son is 3 1/2 and he has sensory issues. There's only a few things he will eat. I'm going to bring some of his favorites just in case, which isn't much.

If I keep nuggets in our resort fridge, where can I warm them up before putting in his food thermos, for park days? We are staying at the Polynesian - Tuvalu building. I don't know if there is a microwave at the resort anywhere or parks.

My little guy is 7 (will at 8 at our next trip) with sensory issues so I feel you. I think the crust is pretty thick and hard. The nuggets are breast bites that have the same coating as the strips. Unless there are kid chicken nuggets for some kid meals that are more of the formed and thinner coating type -others can probably answer. Mine would not touch nuggets at all when we were there last but has since started to like the breast tenders with crunchier coating so that adds options, I just hope he doesn't think it is too spicy.

There are microwaves at the baby care centers. I guess ostensibly for warming bottles but it doesn't say you can't warm your little one's nuggets in it. edited to add: upon further reading it seems like there is a feeding area including child-sized tables so it might be a nice quiet place to have a safe lunch I wouldn't pre-warm, just throw them in the thermos for safe keeping and then heat them up when he is ready for lunch.

In my opinion the Disney nuggets are very much like those at McD's or Sonic

There is a microwave at the QS location at Poly or you can request one from Bell Services for your room. No guarantee they'll have any, there aren't enough for all rooms but you can ask.

I would agree, the breading on the nuggets is very thick. I tend to pull some of it off when I eat my daughter's leftover nuggets.

the one thing to remember if the nuggets do not stay warm enough other than baby centers you will not be able to get them warmed up as no outside food can be heated in the kitchens at the parks. government rule not a Disney rule
