I realize people’s opinions are subjective. Not looking for medical advice. Any past EPIC guests care to give their thoughts as to the below listed attractions intensity?

Goal is to avoid “the more aggressive” rides…aggressive, in this instance, translating thusly to traditional rides in Orlando:

Gringotts would be off the table as to the jerky, sideways sort of movement at times, as well as the U coasters, for intensity. WDW would exclude the MK mountains, 7DMT & GoG. Tron would be fine as no unexpected spinning.

Have listed EPIC attractions that seem to be doable; based upon height requirements and general descriptions/videos watched thus far. Nothing like seeing them in person though.

Not particularly concerned to pass on this one:

-Wing Gliders (40 inch)

On the the wish list:

-Donkey Kong (40 inch)
-MoM (40 inch, if akin to Spider-Man spinning, would be fine)
-Bowser’s Challenge (40 inch, reviews are all over the place for this one as to intensity of bumps. Are they primarily on the outside where the track looks broken?)
-Monsters Unchained (48 inches, If similar in intensity to FJ’s dementor area, would be fine)

Monsters should be ok. It's the ride style of FJ but does seem less intense. Doesn't seem to tilt back so far as the whomping willow scene.

Is Mario Kart on your good-to-go list? It is not intense.

Yes, thank you

These are my impressions:

-Wing Gliders (40 inch)
A slower and milder version of Tron, with upright seating.

-Donkey Kong (40 inch)
A combo of Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain.

-MoM (40 inch, if akin to Spider-Man spinning, would be fine)
Less spinning than Spiderman. Drops are intensified by the screens. The biggest drop feels shorter than Rise of the Resistance's.

-Bowser’s Challenge (40 inch, reviews are all over the place for this one as to intensity of bumps. Are they primarily on the outside where the track looks broken?)
Bowser is the Mario Kart ride, not the Donkey Kong coaster. You wear the special glasses in order to see the targets. If you don't wear the glasses, the ride is probably similar to Minnie's Runaway Railway.

-Monsters Unchained (48 inches, If similar in intensity to FJ’s dementor area, would be fine)
Much much much better than FJ. Think Haunted Mansion, but with the ghosts interacting with you and your vehicle gets whacked and flipped (never upside down) along the way.

Only reason ministry feels as intense as it does is because of the tower of terror style seats. Nothing to hold on to.

Monsters is def less intense than forbjdeen journey. The turns aren't as violent, very smooth.

Wing Gliders is a slightly faster version of slinky dog and a baby version of Hagrids.

Mario kart is slower then men in black.

Donkey Kong really isn't intense, it's just shaky so it's a rough ride.

1. Wing Gliders: Nearly identical in intensity and ride through as slinky dog dash.
2. Donkey Kong: Not particularly intense but very rough due to the ride design. Think Space Mountain;
3. Havne’t ridden MoM
4. Bowsers Challenge: If you can handle Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway you can handle this IMO.
5. Same ride system as FJ. Not particularly intense.

Thanks all, very helpful!:worship:

Great

Explains why I've been so confused re this one, duh

I repurpose my DH arm as a handle hold lol

Ok, on the to do list then - yea!

Hmm space mt, wild mouse sort can be issue the first ride they each trip as the dips & turns aren't memorized. The mummy similar in some areas, but know where it happens can brace

Is DK:

-a dark ride ala mummy or Space mountain (which seems to have far more turns)?

-is the outside area the main one for bumps or is it throughout the ride?

It's throughout the ride as the cart "jumps" the track etc. Not a dark ride. There's one part that's inside and a little dark but nothing crazy.

Unfortunately it's a one and done for me because of the roughness (I have many lower back issues)

Found a good POV ride thru Does appear to have some imtermittent bumps thru out, will be hard to resist lol
Ya I will say it's hard to see the roughness of it on video as for this it's designed to be like that rather than something like space mountain that some of that is because of age.. It's smooth when it's not shaking 😂
