Piglet -- I wasn't watching the news but had to go check it out on-line after your post! How scary & they think it was deliberate too!


Last night we had my immediate side of the family Christmas. It was nice. Glad to have 1 thing done.

Tonight DH's sister & husband come over. I stil lhave TONS of housecleaning to get done. I started it last night but we got home late and well...it just is. Things kept getting me messed up during the day yesterday so I got off track. I'm drinking my tea first thing and surfing before going to get busy here (of course, I hear 2 of the boys fighting already...ugh...always happens).

DH still needs to run to the store for some last minute items. Who knows if we are going to get DS-7 his last 2 presents we need to get or not. Seems time keeps getting away from us.

Good Morning everyone!

The best part about being on disability is that I don't have work today YAY! I was scheduled for a full day at work, so now I can enjoy Christmas Eve with family. Also, today is oldest DD's birthday! So it is a special day for us.

Slo, thanx for asking about Jasmine. She was groomed and the vet there took a look at her paw. Seems that it may have had a small sprain but nothing really wrong which was a relief. Vet bills are as high as doctor bills these days! But they did not even charge for checking out her paw. She was walking fine again last night and this morning so all is well. Maybe she was faking it to get out of her grooming yesterday LOL!

So I am off for a blood test at the dr now then picking up DD's birthday cake at the bakery. I am lucky John can be the chauffer for me since I cannot drive with this back.

Carol Glad to hear Jasmine is fine. I had a dog that would sleep by the door to cool off one year the goof got too cool and his leg was a little cramped and wouldn't walk on it. Needless to say we took him in to the vet and the waiting in the warm vet's office he started to walk on all 4 legs. It was an expensive lesson to put a blanket down.


Piglet That crash a potential for a very bad Christmas. I am so glad no one was hurt in the studio.

Rose - How did Matthews audition go yesterday?

Sorry, I haven't been here in about a week. Matthew did pass the audition for the variety show. Thanks for asking He will be playing the clarinet for the variety show in Feb. This is what he wanted to do for the variety show.

We had a great day yesterday!!!!
I got a lot of wonderful gifts!! My favorites were my Nintendo DS, and I got an ipod Nano (both of which I have to figure out what to do with).


Today I"m going to take Katie to daycare, and then go into work for just a couple of minutes this morning. Than this afternoon Kevin, Stephanie, and I are going to see the new National Treasure movie, and then I have to work 5-7 tonight. So it should be a good day today!!!!


I hope all of you that celebrate Christmas had a great day yesterday too!!!

Merry Christmas to all.. I hope that everyone had lots of great presents, and food and fun with family.

The pressure to make the year is over.. still have a lot to do but not as pressurey..My boss told me that I still have a job in 2008. . at least for the 1st qtr.. ..I spent the 4 day weekend, cooking and cleaning..but i am done..today is work for both Dh and I although i am working from home today.. Eric has a wrestling match, Geoff is sleeping.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I know we did at our house. We spent Christmas Eve with sil and family. Then Christmas Day at our house with both families. I love to host Christmas!

DS is downstairs playing a new video game, dh is at work, and I am going to do some cleaning and then drag ds out to do some shopping. We also have broken Deal or No Deal game to return when I can brave Toys R Us.

We reserved tickets to Star Wars at MSI for this coming Sunday. Hopfully this Sunday won't be a cold and windy as last Sunda!

We had a great day yesterday!!!
It was nice not having to work to much (only 2 hours)
We were able to see National Treasure 2, and we really loved it!!!!
They left it wide open for a 3rd one, and now I can hardly wait - sorta like when I saw Barbosa walk down those stairs at the end of Pirates 2


Today I'm not working to much either - it's so nice having my college employee home!!!
Stephanie will have to go to work with me, and I'm hoping we'll only have to be there until about 3pm.
Then I can go home and make dinner - I haven't done that in forever!!!!
Now I have to think what I'm going to make



geffric - I"m glad work is going to be less hectic for you now
I"m also very glad for you that you still have a job in 2008

momto1 - I'm glad you had a good holiday , but what a bummer about the game I hope you are able to get that replaced!!!
