Leigh! I think that fall might be the Big Guy's way of telling you to slow down a little! I'm hope you feel better soon. What an evening that was!! :sad2:

Well, I wanted to stop by and wish my birthday buddy a Happy Birthday, which should lead everyone to conclude that it's my Birthday too! It's also Snow White's birthday! She is 70 today and damn she still looks really good for 70! If my birthday buddy wants to "out" herself, she can do that!

I hope everyone is ready for Christmas, :santa: cause I still got lots to do and of course, the cold that DH and DD had is now harboring itself in my sinuses! Jerky cold! I hate colds!! They are just annoying and get in the way. Colds remind me of flies! I hate flies too!

Well, have a good Friday everyone and don't forget to tune in on Christmas morning at 9:00 a.m. to Channel 7 in order to watch the WDW Christmas parade!!

Hey all. Quick fly-by. Tired after working a busy 12 today.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAM AND BUNCHKIN!!! Hope you had a great day.
Hope everyone is up on the buying and the wrapping and the gift giving. I have a few more things to pick up, but coming along quite nicely. The dirty house is a whole other issue. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:
Better run.
Take care.

Good morning!

I hope everyone is nearly done shopping. I am finally in the final lap, then on to wrapping :woohoo:.

Carol When I had my bout with kidney stones toridol (sp) and vicodin were my best friends. But both leave me with a bad headache. I guess I am not cut out to be a drug addict ;)

Sam It sounds like you are not liking your early christmas gift ;) I hope you start feeling better soon. I don't do the sick thing well either:hug:

Slo How's the :santa: thing coming?

Well off to the laundry I need to get that done since I was lazy last night we have errands to do today.

I have most of my wrapping officially done!!! :cheer2:
I have to wrap Stephanie's present from us, and then wrap all of Santa's presents at work today, and than I am totally done!!!  Wrapping is not one of my favorite activities, so I'm glad it's almost over!!!

Carol Ann - I've never had Vicotin (sp?) but my friend has, and she loved it too. She said that she can understand how people become addicted, because it works so well.:)

Sam - Thanks for the reminder of the WDW parade. I'll have to set my DVR :thumbsup2

Tigggggggggern - My dirty house is a whole other issue too ::yes:: I have to work on cleaning it tomorrow and Christmas Eve day.

Crissup - :wave2:

HERSEY - I wrapped the Dora Kitchen at work yesterday and brought it home. When Katie saw it, her eyes went like this:eek: She started running around the house chanting "I got a big present! I got a big present!" So when she's sad about not getting Dora Kitchen from Santa, I'm going to tell her that she's not done with Christmas yet, and she doesn't know what's in the big box. Than she'll get excited again!!!! :yay:

I"m off to get ready for work.
We are taking a bet on how many orders we'll take for Christmas gifts. I guessed 5, my one employee guessed 3, Kevin guessed 6, and now I have to ask my other employee. Moneywise, I hope Kevin is right, timewise, I hope my one employee is right - I don't want to work tomorrow.

Have a good day today!!!

I hope you both had a wonderful birthday yesterday!!!! :grouphug:

Happy Belated Birthday to Bunchkin and Sam. I hope it was a great day.

I STILL have to finish last minute shopping. DH was trying to be helpful since I had been telling him I still needed a couple of presents for the middle guys. EXCEPT instead of just buying for the middle guys, he ended up getting 1 thing for all 4 kids. Although, DS-4 is too little for it (it's Gameboy games).

I got my tickets to go see the Star Wars exhibit on New Year's day...this time I got smart, I got afternoon tickets so that when we are late getting downtown (because we have issues with attempting to get there on time, no matter how hard we try to get there!), I won't feel like I'm scrambling. Last time our timed entry was for 10 AM, I figured that would give us plenty of time. We didn't even get to the museum until 10 AM, had to skip the coat check thing so I was carrying everyone's coats around the exhibit, etc... plus this time around I'm getting DS-4 a stroller! He doesn't really need it but it keeps him contained, which makes it better to look at stuff with the older ones. It's just going to be the boys & myself going through the exhibit while DH & DD go somewhere else. I'm thinking the genetics exhibit because she likes that one and last time wasn't really able to see much. The only catch is last time we did this DS-4 had an absolutely horrible time going to bed that night. Hopefully since it's our 2nd time there won't be a repeat. I'm hoping we can get there early enough though to try and see the Millenium Falcon. Last time we didn't even try because we were late to the exhibit so I didn't even have time to attempt to try and get tickets for that.

Hoping the weather holds out here. We don't have far to travel for the holidays but it is so easy to slip as Leigh and I will attest to.

Yes, but my fall was mild compared to yours. I hope you're doing better!

I've been fighting a virus for the last few days...a computer virus! :scared: It's some kind of malicious software, I don't know if it's really a virus. I've been asking some people on a board how to fix it, and looking through my computer to see what I could find, and I think I may have finally gotten it cleaned up, I hope. <<crosses fingers>>

I hope everyone is ready for Christmas! I'm not exactly, but I have the next week off (I have some work I need to do from home, though) so hopefully I can get a lot done.

And Happy Belated Birthday to SamIAm and Bunchkin!

Anyone know what happened with the Cracker Barrel in Naperville?

We went to go out to eat tonight and as we pulled into the parking lot an "eerieness" happened because the lot was empty! THAT never happens, especially early on a Saturday night.

So, being the noisy (nosey?) people we are, DH got out and looked at the sign that was on the door. They were closed because of something with the kitchen, it didn't elaborate.

Just curious if anyone knows anything because well...I'm noisy(sp?). :lmao:

Made for one really long night to change plans and figure out where to eat. The worst part was I was planning on picking up the couple gifts I have left to get there. I need to more things for my 7 year old, so figured I could find something there. I know he likes to play those peg games and was going to pick that up and see if something else struck my fancy. I guess not. *sigh* Oh well....I'll just have to figure something else out.

No idea what happened. But, if you still need to visit one, there's one at Weber Rd and I-55.

Today we are celebrating Christmas with Kevin's extended family at my in-laws house. I've got a ton to do before we go there though - fold laundry, change sheets, vaccuumm, clean bathrooms, and etc..... We have to be there at 2pm, and I'm hoping to get most of this done, so I don't have to do any of it tomorrow.

At work yesterday we got one order of 2 items that's due after Christmas:banana:
Than I had one gentleman that I did something for right away.
So, I have nothing else that's due for Christmas - it's all done!!!!!:yay: :yay:

Becky - That's great about getting your tickets!!! That will be a nice way to spend New Years's Day!!! :goodvibes

Leigh - Good luck with your computer virus :wizard: It hasn't been a good week for you

Crissup - :wave2:

Kim - Merry Christmas to you too!! :santa:
I hope all is well by you - we miss you, please check in more often :grouphug:

Well, it's time to start getting stuff done around the house
Have a good day today everyone!!

Hi everyone! Did anyone hear that ferocious wind outside last night? I thought it was a tornado, lol.

We are taking our dog Jasmine to be groomed today. Problem is she seems to be limping and favoring her right paw. Hope she is ok, they are also our vet so we can have it checked out too.

Have a nice Sunday everyone!

Happy Belated Birthday, Bunchkin & Sam! I hope all your birthday wishes came true!!!:thumbsup2

Merry Christmas to all on the Chicago-thread, regular posters and lurkers, too! I hope everyone has a great time these next few days with family and friends, and can create special memories to treasure. We are going to my brother's house for our Christmas there tonight, so...

let the celebration begin!!!

I wish you all a peaceful and safe Christmas!!!! :)

Was anyone else watching the channel 7 newcast tonight? What a scary sound, so glad no one was hurt in the crash.

Right now I'm sitting here eating Christmas cookies and drinking coffee - I love this time of year!! :goodvibes

I got all my housework done yesterday!!!!!!!
Now I have nothing (house cleaning wise) to do today - that's awesome!!!! :woohoo:
I will be busy today though with other things. I need to take Katie to daycare for awhile (I"m hoping she'll take a nap there, where at home she won't - she'd be to excited), and then go to work to give my employees there Christmas bonus and Christmas cookies to eat all day:) . Than I have to pick up our Christmas pie at Baker's Square, and then come home to set the table. After that I have to pick up our Christmas flower arrangement that our friends make us every year (they should open up a flower shop) and then bring it home. By that time it will be time to go get Katie and then get the girls ready for church, because we have to be there at 3:30pm, because the childrens choir that STephanie is in sings at 4pm. After mass we'll come home with my inlaws to have dinner and open presents. After that it's time for the girls to go to bed, and then Santa can make his arrival. Hopefully his arrival will be early so we can go to bed at a decent time. So that's my day in a nutshell - it'll be great!!!!:santa:

Carol Ann - That wind was terrible wasn't it?!?! It was blowing against my bedroom window so hard (which is right above our bed) that it woke me up and I thought someone was trying to get in - it really freaked
me out!!! :scared1:
**How's your puppy today? Did you find out what was wrong with her paw :dog:

Donna - Have fun at your brothers house!!!! :santa:

piglet - I didn't see the news. What sounds are you speaking about?

Well, I"m going to go jump into the shower
Have a good day today everyone!!!

Good morning everyone! I am so glad the winds have stopped. So far we have had a very wild winter this year. First the ice and now wind. I hope the rest of the winter months are quiet.

Today we are spending a quiet day and then tomorrow will be spending Christmas with friends.
