Slo, the pic of your girls with Pluto is adorable. Pluto is very photogenic because the best pic I have of my two at DL last summer was with Pluto as well. Used for our Christmas cards
I was on call for 8 of my 12 hours today. I got a lot of packing together. Still need to put in correct cases-carryon vs. checked, but at least it's in one room finally. And the really wrinkled stuff I ironed quickly before putting in the case. Costumes are taking up a lot of room. I unfortunately believe I will have one more suitcase that I desired. Oh well.
Book fair previews start in the morning so I need to get there early and set the schedules. I think I'm nuts!!!!!!!
Debbie, yes our trips are overlapping. The day you arrive at GF we will be checking out of WL and transferring over to Royal Plaza at DTD until the 16th. DD has to stay there with her ballet group during that time. It's going to be such a let down for us. We will still be doing parks. In fact, on the 12th I may be at GF spa having a massage if I can get DS in the Pirate Treasure Hunt there that morning. Right now it's booked, but the CM said to keep calling and perhaps someone would cancel and he could get in. So, daily calls to Disney. Oh the hardship of it.
Well, I'd best get to bed. 4 more sleeps.

I live on the golf course back there behind superdawg on Indian Rd. at Milwaukee and Devon.

Our school would be Onahan (or Tars or Techlas)
Right now it's just there little park district and YMCA stuff! We are off to Golf Mill today for JC pix for my son. You would be familair with that!

Milwaukee and Austin is 3 blocks or so from me!!!!! Where did you go to school!!! I went to Onahan then Res.

I went to Hitch and Taft. I know your schools well tho. You grew up here too, then? Are your parents still living in this area? 8yo DD Kelly goes to St. Paul Lutheran on Canfield. 18yo DS Matt goes to Triton now but, he went to Maine South and St. Paul as well. Ebinger would be our PS and St. Juliana's is the Catholic school at the end of our street.

Ok, how sad is this:

My little cousins (3 & 6) were at LAX today to return home. Their souvineers from DL were snowglobes, because apparently the older one collects them (so the younger one does too ). But then there was a crisis. Can you see where I'm going with this? At security they noticed the snow globes, and they confiscated them! From little children! Water. So the 3 y.o. got down on the floor and had a tantrum, kicking and screaming. (As apparently she's wont to do. ) But unfortunately they didn't bend. So I'm going to give them the number for mail order from DL, and hopefully they can order the same ones. (And hopefully they didn't cost too much!)

Geez, that's pretty mean of security . Can't they just x-ray the snow globes if security was that worried about it?
Last week, O'Hare lifted the ban on the water, water bottles, etc. to 3 or 6 ounces(can't remember how many ounces). You can bring about 3 oz of water with you on board. How many oz of water does a snowglobe
have ,maybe 2 oz?

That's really terrible. Someone posted on the Theme Park board that they bought a Tink cup with water in it and security at MCO told them to throw it away or go check it, her DH went back and checked the bag.

Good morning everyone! 1 more day to the start of Alex's pre-birthday surprise. My friend, her 2 kids and I are taking Alex down to Science and Industry to see the Frogs exhibt. Alex is a self proclamed tree frog/rain forest expert.

Superdawg I haven't been there since I was knee-high. My doctor used to be, its seemed like across the street but I can't remember.

Tiggerrn2 Have you been to WL during the holidays? I'm thinking about going next year. How crowded are the parks?

The TAG FAIRY is a wonderful little fairy that goes around reading people's posts and picking out things that are witty, or cleverly said, and than posts them under your user name. As you can see, I made the comment about how I don't like falling and spiders, and I also said I was a Tonga Toast junkie. Warning....never beg for a tag, because the the TAG FAIRY has been known to not grant tags to those that ask to much.

The TAGLIARCHY is a very colorful place, full of fun-loving and friendly folk. We encourage visitors to our home in the TAGLIARCHY to stick around and join us. It's a comfortable place in the TAGLIARCHY. We share meals of all kinds of delicious dishes, and yummy snacks (mostly of the chocolate variety) throughout the day. We travel around WDW together, in a virtual kind of way. We "read" stories. We laugh and joke. We lend technical help to each other. We support both ups and downs in each others lives. Tiggerrn2 - Try to not feel bad about staying at The Royal Plaza - its a very very nice place . It's the best room I have ever had while staying at WDW. The room we had made our WDW resort room feel like closets. We haven't stayed there in 10 years, but I'm sure it's still nice.

roseprincess - You are right about taking water on the plane now - I brought a bottle of water on the plane on the way home.

HERSEY - When exactly is Alex's b-day and how old is her turning?

KimRaye - Where is Superdawg?? I've never been to one.

Good Morning All

It's a little chilly here.

slo---I love that picture of the girls with all 3 characters. When we were there only Aladdin was out.

Today is going to be long at work. For the past few days they have been moving shelving, moving aisles, knocking things down, painting, liquidating

Last night they stayed overnight to move all the registers. We have actual lanes and they were knocking them down and making one long counter.

Now the re-setters are there to put all the product back on the shelves, everything is being moved to a different place. It is suppose to take a total of 3 weeks and it has been one week today.

Morning all!!! Busy day today with book fair previews and then to come home and pack. And, of course, must fit in Survivor, Grey's, and ER. Whew!!
KimRaye, I have a DD 8 named Kellie, also. Too funny. I spelled it different and doesn't she let me know it. "I can't get anything with my name on it".
Hersey, I have never stayed at WL before. The only holiday time I've been in the world is Halloween. Then we were at AKL. It was neatly decorated with kids carved pumpkings and CMs carved pumpkins in Diney character fashion. It was fun to be there then.
I have always avoided WDW during the holidays because of the crowds. I have the incredibly disappearing DS. In one second he can be unfound. Scarey during slow season. Can't imagine what it'd be if it were crowded.
Well, I best start my day. Have a MAGICAL day everyone!!!!
