Have not seen KimRaye around hope all is well with her and her family or maybe I have been missing her post...

With the boards down last night, I couldn't read or post and, with DSs oral surgery on Monday, I've been busy. His meds are VERY scheduled and, it takes 3-4 alarm clocks to make sure he's taking everything when he should and, doing what he needs to do (brushing/rinsing).

Kelly starts school in about 7-1/2 hrs and, as much as I'd like to put that off, it's inevitable. Summer's over.

I also have infrequently started taking my anti-anxiety meds again. Happens this time of year, as well as other times but, this time of year ALWAYS gets me. I'll start back to PT work after Labor Day, after serving my lunch duty time at Kelly's school next week. Just normal busy-ness, like everyone else but, I sometimes need meds to chill.

Wish I could catch up individually but, I have read almost everything and, I wish everyone & & & !

Now I'm home and the house is so quiet. You would think I would love it, but I don't like the quiet. I love having the girls with me.

That 1st day is definately the hardest but, ALL the 1st days are. Pretty soon, you'll wonder how the short time she's in school, flies BY so fast!

Some other good news: I spoke with my old friend/co-leader for my Brownie troop today, her daughter wants to return to our troop and she wants to help me with the troop again!! I'm really excited about this, as we really got along.

That's good - you'll have lots of fun!!!!

So the leader thought that I wasn't taking calls.

Unbelievable!!!! I don't blame you for being glad that this is your last year as leader.

Good Morning!!

1st day of school here for DD!! I'm driving her this morning because of all the stuff they have to bring in. She already picked out her outfit to wear last night, it's an Ariel dress! I love when school starts because that's when she really gets into wearing dresses again!

Thanks everyone who commented about my Brownie troop. It is a lot of work. And the gossip is ramant everywhere with mom's.
But you just have to try to get past it and move on. You can't please everyone!!

Good luck with Kelly starting school today!! Sometimes we all need a little help to get by! Even if if means taking meds. I've been the Queen of meds lately, so I can understand.

Good morning, all!

My weekend actually ended a whole lot better than it started, (hurray!!!). We were able to spend some time with good friends on Saturday, and then Mark and I went up to Lake Geneva, WI on Sunday. They have a Venetian Festival there, and they have a craft show, a lighted boat parade and fireworks over the lake. We usually watch the show from the hotel, but this year, Mark talked me into going out on one of the Lake Geneva Cruise Line boats, so we were able to see it all *from* the water...I was a bit nervous at first, but it was pretty cool!

I am reading a lot about school starting this week...I know Brian's high school (where he teaches) did start this week, and we take Christopher back to Dubuque for college this weekend. Prayers for a happy and safe school year for all...

Stacey's first day of school is August 31st. In the city it is always the day after Labor Day but her school wants to try something different this year.

Trully understand what you mean... I have not been tow ork after 2 days again... I am finally going back today.... I took 2 days off last Thursday and Friday and went back to work Saturday. Saturday was fine, quiet and peaceful. Sunday morning as I was going back to work my supervisor at my part time job called me for a very sad news. My favorite girl to work with died Saturday AM. And the sad part was she had left work with an argument. We really have a verbal abuser who is a supervisor in one of the department where this girl work full time. Friday morning acc'ding to my supervisor the good one, that she had gone to the office and had complain about this other supervisor. Everybody in that department was called in with the office including our head Pathologist and Director. After the meeting she had gone home very upset. This past Saturday was supposed to be her 1st day for vacation and was going on a cruise with his DS and DH. Woke that morning made breakfast and went to lay down on the couch in the livibg room and did not wake up anymore. DH administered cpr while waiting for 911 to come but she was not revive. She is only 45 and last week we just did her blood work and all was fine, they are going to have an autopsy but the medics were saying it must be a heart attack or an aneurysm. I am sorry to be talking about this here. I know this should be a place of fun. I just have been feeling numb this past couple of days.

i sure am !! i have called disney the motherland since 1991........and i call universal the dark side...........


i'll be in the motherland from sept 26 to oct 6
then i transfer to the dark side oct 6 thru columbus day night. catching a late plane and getting into ohare around 10ish pm that night.

i think everyone should use the word, motherland.
it's what brought all of us together, eh.......
