Chic Fil A helping out

Wow, what's wrong with the lesbians? You'd think they might have stepped up and donated some blood.
:stir: Right back at ya. What a ridiculous statement you made.

If I was a lesbian standing in that line, I wouldn't eat food from such a bigoted company. I am not lesbian and have not, and never will eat at Chick-Fil-A.

Chick-Fil-A served that food to promote themselves to the straight people in that line.

Nuts

Gay men cannot donate blood. So the only people standing in that line that Chick-Fil-A was feeding were straight people. :stir:
While it's true that gay men still can't donate (and that's a whole other topic I could go into--it's complicated), plenty of gay men stood in line. Yes, they were deferred, but they showed up in support. And some were offered chicken, no doubt. But nice try stirring the pot. ;)

I just find it funny that some people (I'm not saying this about anybody on this thread, this is just in general) start yelling intolerance when people disagree with Chick Fil A's stance yet they are all gung ho about banning Muslims and others from this country because they have different beliefs. Hypocrisy at its finest.

*****Once again, I'm not saying this about anybody on this thread.*****
Last I looked Chik Fil A was not killing Anyone. And lets get this right, No one is calling for a Ban for all Muslims, they are calling for a ban of Muslims from nations that in the past have had terrorist activities against other countries. Something I don't believe in. I would just ban all people from those countries.

Fit was not chick fall's fault about who the blood bank said who could or could not donate. And even if they allowed anyone to, chick falesorry spellings? They would of fed anyone who donated.

I gave blood yesterday, and all I got was juice and a cookie!
Aw, man! Not even a tee shirt? It seems they have run out of shirts, but if you want one, you can usually ask the person running the drive if you can come back another time. My husband has gone so far as to send them to donors who couldn't get one. But certainly in a few weeks you could pop by a donation center and ask for one. If you want one. I realize you were probably tongue-In-cheek, but just in case anyone was wondering :)

Dang! the ONE time I gave blood all I got was a lengthy stay on a cot from passing out and unending embarrassment.

They were giving out Tervis tumblers a couple weeks ago, but I missed out!

Well. I don't agree with that, and it's been stated quite a bit that this wasn't "corporate" Chi-Fil-A and also that they didn't seek publicity for it.

As for never eating there, I get it. There's two companies I will not do business with. BUT, I don't harbor the venom in my heart that you appear to. It's not healthy. I choose not to go to those places, but other than that, I let it go. Life is too short to harbor such hatred/negativity inside you. If you never eat there, that's fine, but I just hope you are able to give up some of what comes across on a message board.

Hoo boy! Did you guys miss out. Don't tell my husband I told you this, but here in Orlando most drives that aren't organized by companies or churches give out a Fandango voucher or a theater voucher. But at the end of some months, the company gets so low on blood that they give out two Fandango vouchers. So, if you are planning to donate, find one that's doing Fandango. But don't necessarily wait for double Fandango because the blood is needed before they get desperate enough to double the offer. And also, like I said, don't tell my husband I told you this. He needs donors to donate out of the goodness of their hearts, like you guys did, so there's always enough blood ;).
