I changed my Dec. flight yesterday and I just checked the fare this morning. It actually went up!

I was coming to post the same thing. Even if your city isn't on the sale list. I saved $148 on a trip that was only $396 to begin with. I was shocked.

Yep. I saved 912 pts on our 2 January tickets. Price went from $111 to $99, but only on one leg of the trip. My December fares haven't dropped any.

Man, I'm so bummed. We earned our 50k points this month for getting a new card but it doesn't look like they're going to post until the 19th. At least, that's when our points posted last month.

Not only did my fares not go down, there are no more wanna get away fares for the day at all......completely sold out!

Thank you SO much! We got our Pres Week tix as soon as they opened up, then 3 foster kids came into our lives. By then, tix were almost 1000 RT. Just checked last night--more Wanna Get Away fares opened, and was able to use points for 2 legs and pay (slightly less) cash for the other 4. Whew! Thanks!!

Thank you! I have been keeping an eye on prices for our December flight. Haven't seen it cheaper and it still isn't. However, the flight I just booked for our new DCP girl for January went down by $20 - so I changed that one!

Thanks for sharing! I just booked a flight on Sunday, so I check on it, and the fare actually went up already! My flight is outside of the sale dates by a few weeks. I will have to keep checking for another sale that includes the end of February.
