Check your JetBlue seats!!!

Hi all...just an FYI...a couple of months ago there was something here about jetblue honoring their sale for tickets that you had purchased pre-sale. So, like others here I called jetblue and was given an $80 credit on my jetblue account...
Today, I went to do an online check in (early I know but they let you do this 24 hours before you are scheduled to fly-and I'm too excited and want everything done right now...as the clock slowly ticks by) I checked in and ALL OF MY SEATS WERE WRONG!!! I was in 8B and BF was in 9B...um...huh??? So, I thought I had made the appropriate arrangements...and then realized I had just totally made a mess of my check in...
Admitting defeat...I called jetblue and said "HELP!" (seriously the first words out of my mouth were I need help!) the gentleman on the other end of the phone was patient and kind...he was able to help fix the problem...and stayed on the line with me until I had new boarding passes (thank goodness b/c I almost messed that up-again)
as soon as we hung up I was online with jetblue to give this man a compliment...he made a very scary moment much better...
By the way his name was Koluse...Thank you!!!
 
Every time I have called JB in order to get a credit for a flight, I always ask them what seat I am in when they are done with the credit issue. One time the woman said...'oh, almost forgot to redo your seat.' Sometimes they do forget because it is a situation where the previous reservation is actually cancelled and then a new one put in. So, if they don't go in and reassign the seats, you will not get the same ones you had. Always ask before you hang up...just in case.
 
wish I had known that before...at least I have a flight!!! Oh well its fixed now..not the seats that I wanted...but at least it was fixed...just get me there!!!
 
We did lose our seats on JB. The night of 9/6 I go to download our boarding passes and I see that they have us in 13A and 14A (original seats were 3A and 3B. I called right away and they said, they had no idea what had happened, but put us together in 16A and 16B. There was nothing I could do the original seats were taken.
I emailed them and they called me, they told me that when I called to get the lower price, the seats were never reassigned, but I said they were I even have the email confirmation right in front of me. I told them that the original seats were even still there on 9/1
Long story short, they asked me to hold on and came back and they said, yes you did get the email confirmation and the seats were still there up until 9/4. They have no idea why they were given away.
I'm thinking they gave them to someone "very important" :bitelip:
