We got the VISA ($500) offer and I signed up right away and did the happy dance!!!! But we have been using our Disney VISA alot...matter of fact, we just paid off our Sept. trip 2 weeks ago on our "mickey" card. ( Wish I had waited a couple of extra weeks to pay it off).

Even if our extra rewards don't show up for a couple of months........we'll just save them for our trip next year.

I wonder if those of who didn't receive this email already use the card a lot. I know I use (and pay off) mine for just about everything monthly. So, is it an enticement to get it in use, you think?

My daughter received a card in the mail for groceries only with no minimum. The 5times will be on all groceries. You should call Disney Visa and speak with a customer service rep. to see if you had a threshold and also call to sign up. You aren't signed up unless you call or signup online.

I received the card during the wintertime, stupidly just threw it out. Didn't realize what it was about till I read about it on here after the fact.

I just received the email today, mine is for purchases in the categories for combined spending above $250. I will be signing up, but wonder why they waited to offer it to me till the middle of July since it is supposed to be for July, August and September.

I took my father and stepmom out to lunch today and spent $80. I would have put it on the card towards the extra points but left cash as that's how I prefer to pay usually. Also, all my grocery shopping that I did the first two weeks of July. I would already be at the limit to start earning the extra points. Sigh. I'm happy to have the offer and will start from tomorrow but I'm still perplexed as to why they waited till the middle of the month for an offer that should have started two weeks ago.

I am almost positive that you have to spend the $ amount in each catagory before you get the 5x Reward Dollars. We had the offer for April/May/June ($100 or more - my DH doesn't use his card often - they don't even give me the offer!) The points just didn't add up using the purchases combined, but were very close if I calculated by separating the catagories. We got the offer again but with $250 this time. We might get a few points in gas and groceries; especially if I buy some gift cards.

That is how the JFM one was too, I didnt receive the offer until mid January, the person at Chase said it is retro active, goes back to the 1st day of the month of the offer.

As long as you sign up by Sept 30, they will make it retroactive to July 1.

It is the only card I used - I signed up I would love 5x the points. I used $400 towards this year's trip.

getting a bonus offer would really come in handy. I only have $39.00 rewards on mine and my trip is in NOv. Sure would be sweet to earn xtra money

I just signed up for this. Mine is a $250 minimum...though I'm also not sure if that means total or separate. Either way, I'll just use my card normally and maybe I'll end up with some extra disney dollars!

Hi, I figured that I could argue to make it retroactive but unfortunately for me, I paid cash at the restaurant and grocery. No luck for me, but I will use the card for those items from now on during the offer.


Just a clarication for me, you can earn an extra 100 disney dollars total over the entire promotional period, not each month right? Thanks.

Okay, this isn't fair.......I got mine in the mail also. But, mine says that I have to spend $1000 each month in any of the categories listed above, Dining, Gas, Airlines & Groceries! How come mine is so high?? $1000 in a month. I signed up for it just hoping that it will happen, but I really doubt it!!!!

Well I was all excited.... something in the mail from Disney Rewards saying I can earn $500 bonus dollars. Yippee it finally came to me!!!
But guess what I have to spend $15,000 on a DVC to get it
OH well I can keep hoping.
