I stayed at the DLH in October last year and loved it. The rooms are much more spacious than the GCH rooms (or so I hear - I can't afford GCH
).
The light-up headboard is truly special and my DD (2) turned it on and off over and over because the tune to "When You Wish Upon A Star" only plays for about 30 seconds when the switch is first flipped. She really loved the tinkly music and the lights coming up on the headboard.
We didn't get to use the pool but it looks very nice.
Dbbydk - I responded to your PM with some MHP info. One thing I didn't mention that directly relates to you staying at DLH is that most people are unaware you can enter the park for the MHP event at the Monorail entrance. Most go to the main entrance and have to stand in long lines, but there were only 5 or 6 folks in line at the Monorail entrance!
Question for all who did not receive their first choice of hotel - do you think "they" might switch you to your first choice at some point in the future if availability opens up? Worth a shot to ask if you are really disappointed...
