awwwww, smelly lil body only his mother would love...

Tyra's audience was full of moms, and she had working moms sit on one side of the room and SAHMs on the other.
Who are you kidding, it was NEVER like it was on Leave it to Beaver!!!That's just stinky to still get people worked up about it... I think each parent grapples with the decision.. but really, can't we get beyond the "who's better" arguement??
The stereotype that mom is at home, dad works and the kids are happy as lil clams.. that was a very short period of American history. Reality is that until the late 40's it was commonplace for all of the family to work together to feed/clothe /shelter. Mothers worked too!
Of course now look at him...![]()
He's still a happy little guy, he's just so dang energetic, pushy and opinionated!![]()
I think the same thing. DS7's babyhood was so hard, so stressful due to colic and serious respiratory illnesses, trouble eating (he was seriously underweight until about age 3) and then surgery at 14 mos. old. Now he's my fairly well behaved child who is hardly ever sick (knock on wood!)He's a BOY! , becoming his own lil self.![]()
Funny, my "OMG, I want to cry because he never stops crying" baby that became "OMG I'm going to tear my hair out, he's driving me nuts" boy has turned into the sweetest polite and caring young man.![]()
And my "happy laid back, aww how cute" baby has become "URGH! teenagers!"![]()
