Character Dining Protocol

[The Lion King]

What is the protocol for the character meals? Do they come around to each table. Do they go in a certain order? We are eating at Crystal Palace and Cape May.

I've never eaten at Cape May but have at the Crystal Palace for both breakfast and lunch. At CP, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet rotate through the whole restaurant. They stop at each table and if you are in there long enough, one or two may get to your table twice. They seem to be spread out a bit which can be a pain since it is a buffet. Both times I've had to rush back to the table to snap pictures.
