Changing FP's at park on MDE app?

Is it best to use the phone app or the park kiosks to add/change FP's?? I have never used the app for this. Is it fairly straightforward?

I find the app very straightforward, the issue I've had is service. The wifi is painfully slow often and my cell network (Verizon) wasn't always the most zippy.

Had great success adding and changing FPs with the app the past week plus. Never used a kiosk once.

I found the phone app faster than the kiosk at Epcot when we were there in October. The kiosk was taking forever to load so I just switched to the phone app. I usually use my cell phone network rather than the Disney wifi because the wifi can be slow.

I wish I could use cell network but for non US phones roaming with data is $$$ I do get a Roaming plan but it's easy to go over.
With FP + being avail on cell phones now I had hopes Wdw would boost wifi reception. My phone company usually roams on AT&T in Florida. But sometimes it switches to T Mobile depending on location. Strange.
