chances for january res

We want to rent points for a studio for a short trip (2nights) at the end of jan08. Any chance of reservations still being available at any dvc resort at this point. I would love AKV but anything would do at this point. I'm new to this and never tried renting b4, I've been to the RT board and have a pretty good understanding (I think) how it works. (Any tips would be appreciated though). My main Q for now is should I even bother or do things book up quickly so that finding availablility would be near impossible.

The end of January fills up more slowly than most other times - you have a shot. Post what you want on the Rent/Trade Board and see what happens.

AKV is so new that it's hard to say what ight be available there. But there should be something at one of the DVC resorts. Good luck!
