Celine Dion's SON looks like a girl!

He's very beautiful.

My SIL dressed my nephew in uni-sex clothes from the Gap when he was 6-7 years old. His little shoes looked like girl's keds not the big athletic shoes that boys usually wear.

My nephew did not have long hair, but he had kind of delicate features. With his non-boy clothes people thought he was a girl ALL of the time.

He's now 25 and ended up pretty normal (whatever that is) and doesn't seem to have any scars from this. I hope little Renee has a happy adulthood in his future too.

Recently, I saw a special on transgendered children. He reminds me of a couple of little boys in that special. Their parents were letting them live as girls until they were old enough for surgery. He totally makes me think of them.

What's really shocking is that to me it seems like she just gave birth and now look how old the kid is.

He is definately cute, but he definately looks like a girl.

He will certainly be a hottie.:scared1:

Oh, my! :scared1: I would never ever think that was a boy! A kid at the summer camp I help with is almost the same; the only way I knew he was a boy was 1) when I heard his name and 2) he was wearing Spiderman swim trunks to the pool. Other than that... :confused3

Here's a quote from Celine Dion

She noted that the pictures in her dressing room may be a little dated. Her son’s wavy, light hair — just like his mother’s — is now “down to his back” she said, touching the small of her back.

“He’s a rocker,” she said, adding she’s never cut his hair even once since he was born.

“I asked him if he wanted me to cut it a little bit, he says, ‘Uh uh, no.’ No he doesn’t want to,” Dion said. “When he’s ready, he’ll let me know.”

You know.... at his age he shouldn't really be given the option. I'd have been taking him to get it cut years ago. Her husband Rene is the same though (at least he was when I went to one of her shows years ago). He had long hair and it was tied up in a pony tail. Not sure if he's changed.

Poor Celine... she's in for a long haul if he's already calling the shots at this age. I'm all for letting children make decisions of their own but in this case, I just don't know.....

The father has or had a pony tail for a long time. So I don't think he minds the long hair.

I don't think they curled his hair either it is naturally curly always has been.

You know.... at his age he shouldn't really be given the option.

Why not? It's his hair. I don't see any problem with it, if he likes it. I've never understood why everyone feels the need to make sure that kids fall into very strict gender guidelines. If a girl wants to play with trucks, why not? If a boy wants to paint his nails, why not?

I think if he likes his hair long, then it's fine. I just got DDs hair cut yesterday, and there was a little girl in there who was getting her long hair all cut off to donate to Locks of Love. The stylist told us a story about a 2-year-old boy who saw bald kids on TV and his mother explained to him that they were sick (with cancer) and the sickness made their hair fall out, and that some people could grow long hair and give it to the sick kids. This little boy, at two years old, decided he wanted to do that. Our stylist told us that he was one of her first clients, he came in when he was 5 years old and his hair was down to his butt and he got it all cut off to donate.

Perhaps when Celine's son is older and decides to cut his hair (if he ever does) he will do the same thing. Until then, it's just hair. A lot of older boys have long hair and it's no problem. He probably usually wears it in a ponytail anyway like his father.

Individualism is one thing... the length of a child's hair is the decision of the PARENT!!!!

He can make his own decisions when he makes his own money. Ugh, that child doesn't look like a boy with long hair, he looks like a little girl and NO that is NOT a good thing, Celine... NOT.

Like my dear departed Mom always said.. Motherhood is not for punks... :lmao:

Well, I doubt he plays with any kids who say, "Rene Charles looks like a girl" :dance3: Ya know what I mean? I imagine he's extremely sheltered and might not even know what's normal. Whatever, it's only hair. He sure looks like a sweet little girl, I mean boy, I mean kid.:rolleyes1

He does look like a girl but lots of little girls have short hair and look like boys. I don't see how it will matter in the big scheme of things.

What beautiful eyes he has...now the hair, well that is another thing. I think it is to long. He is very lucky that he probably does not have to attend a public school. I think he would be picked on.

I dont think it makes one diddly-squat of a difference.
