has anyone did the friday fright nites at cedar point for halloween. i am thinking on going.

We haven't done it this year, but have been to CP a Friday of Halloweekends many times over the past five or six seasons. It is a great night to go - although not every ride is running and the park is only from 6PM-11PM, all the haunted attractions are open, and the crowds can be very light. Most of our Friday visits the coasters were walk-ons all night (except for Millennium Force, which would have maybe a fifteen minute wait), and it's great going through the Fright Zone with so few people around.

Speaking of which - they've added a new Fright Zone for this year over by Wicked Twister, themed to "scary" clowns. We would love to get down there if we get a chance ...

That sounds awesome--three of my favorite things, Halloween, Cedar Point, and Millenium Force!

thanks for the info,,, just booked for next weekend. Since i cant do halloween at disney,so going for the 2nd best.

if anyone can answer this?
on saturday do you have to buy 2 separate tickets? 1 for day and 1 for nite?

thanks again

Nope - it's a one-day, pay-one-price, regular ticket. They don't shut the park down at any point during the day - the haunted houses are open throughout - they just crank up the fog machines at dusk and start up the Fright Zones.

If you haven't already, check out cedarpoint.com for more info; I think they may also have coupons on there as well...

thanks spewey for the info. The CP site does have buy one get one.. and 8 $ off.
